Hi Crusader. Both before and after your workout, you should have a proper balance (and volume) of protein, carbohydrates, and fat. The type of carbohydrate typically shifts to a higher glycemic (GI) format for post-workout, to encourage quick nutrient absorption into the bloodstream.

If you're working out for two hours and not having adequate (and planned) nutrition before and after, then your are really wasting your time. Paying attention to this single point in your fitness program will make a world of difference in your results.

, Whats up crusader,
Yes cursor is right..Your body needs a constant supply of protein..If you eat right you wont have to Drink nearly as many shakes, but that can be hard with some jobs or even school I know!!!!I normally drank one before and then before I went to bed..and tried my hardest to maintain a good diet..
Depending on your number of buds you lift with...may want to cut down on your workout time.....work out more times less time involved..Just a sugestion..

crusader, lifting for 2 hours is too long of a workout. When you lift for that long, your body produces more cortisol, which isn't good for muscle growth. Try to lessen your workout times for between 60-75 minutes.
