Unfortunately, most of the studies show that supplemental glutamine does nada to aid in recovery or performance.

To the person (sorry, the post is off of the reply screen) who said that eating protein before a workout is worthless, check out some of Tipton's work, and the incredibly anabolic reaction to EAAs and BCAAs immediately prior to, and even during workout.

i bought unflavored glutamine powder(optimum nutrition) with 222 servings of 4.5 grams of glutamine for 41$ is this a reasonable price for it? One other thing about it is that it tastes horrible with plain old water, i would suggest never trying it like that! lol thanks for all the good informaition.

Last night I bought some GNC pure whey protein strawberry flavor. Is this a good whey protein to get or is there a better brand out there for the price.

I spent 20.99 for a 42 servings container
