When to use whey?


I was wondering when i should use whey? Im 5'11 137ib im pretty lean and have little body fat. I dont eat alot of meat just mostly dairy products and such....

Strictly post workout. Whey protein breaks down faster than other proteins, in under an hour, so its best for post workout when your muscles are sponges.

If you use it any other time, much of it wont even get absorbed because it breaks down too quickly for your body to handle.

Pretty much. A way to consume it anytime would be to mix it with milk. That way, the casein will slow absorption.
