When to whey?

I use Bodytech whey protein powder, its 100 cal. 17gr. protein per scoop.
I've been drinking a one scoop shake when I wake up, one after work out about 11:00 am and one when I go to bed. Is this a good practice for someone tring to lose belly fat and gain all around mass?

Whey really has nothing to do with losing weight, a good diet does. i suggest you get that in order before you try supplementing with protein and such. Post up your daily diet that will tell us if you on the right track to fat loss.

I eat eggs and wheat toast or oatmeal in the morning. Tuna or peanutbutter and honey sandwiches with fruit for lunch and mid day snack. For dinner some kind of meat (whatever my wife made) fruit with cottage cheese and bread.

Whey is typically used for post workout. It digests very fast, under an hour. This is why its not best suited for bedtime use because your not going to eating for ~8 hours. But if you have no other source of protein for some reason, its better than nothing.

Try meat, eggs, or cottage cheese before bed. You could also use egg or micellar casein powder.

Your diet outline looks pretty good, but add some veggies.

And your not going to "lose belly fat and gain all around mass" it doesnt work that way. One requires a surplus of calories, the other requires a deficit. Do one then the other.
