Where do you buy your supplements?

I've come up with a great idea on how to raise money for Discuss Fitness's hosting costs

I know a lot of you buy supplements and other products via online stores, right? Well a lot of these stores offer affiliates a small commission on each sale you send to them.

So... If you guys buy your products using the DiscussFitness affiliate link, then this would be an easy and effective way of helping me cover the server costs.

Please post a reply and let me know which store(s) you use most often and i can then investigate this idea further.

These are the only retailers with online stores that I've ever bought supplements from:

www.healthdepot.ca

www.A1nutrition.com

www.upper49th.com

The firdt two are local outlets, that happen to have online stores, even though I generally buy direct. The last one is "EAS Canada". For the most part, I don't like online buying because they are so expensive. Even in the cases of online stores that "guarantee" the lowest price, I can always find the same item for a lot less around town.

I only shop online because being an American living in Japan there's not much available for me here. Since we're military we have an APO box so our shipping isn't crazy.

I have had only good experiances with www.netrition.com and I know they DO do the affiliate program. www.amazon.com does too and I know that's not a supplement or nutrition company, but I'm sure a lot of us shop there and it would only be fitting for us to be able to raise money for the site. I just spent $2,000 there in the last month and really, that's not unusual for us. They do sell fitness books as well so that could be the tie to this site. I also shop at www.drugstore.com for a lot of different things, but they have supplements as well. Their prices are not the lowest but they are average, not high.

I usually search for whatever I'm looking for....for the best price...but those are the ones I'd say I order from the most.

Hey BigG, you could set up a PayPal account where we could send donations, start a thread and make it sticky with the donation e-mail on it... just an idea...
