Where's the protein deals online?
Anyone know of any sales or discount pricing on protein online? I'm looking for the best price, but don't buy online usually, so someone's gotta know a place.

You can try www.allthewhey.com I have bought some of this and its not too bad. 10 pounds for 38 bucks. The choclate and vanilla are ok but I would stay away from the strawberry it was gross. Thats the only three I have tried. Hope this helps.

Also you can try the local GNC during the first week of the month. I often walk out of there paying 50% on stuff, even if its not the first week. Usually don't pay more than $25 or less for a 5 lb of ON. I know GNC gets a bad wrap most of the time, but I just hate dealing with shipping personally. Half the time I end up paying 5-6 more bucks and waiting 3-5 days for something to arrive (longer if you order on a weekend.) In the end the online price says its cheaper, but I end up paying the same or more.

After having been a loyal supporter of Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey, I've changed my preference and have been getting my whey from allthewhey.com, exclusively. It definitely is better on my stomach.

I've gotten whey from allthewhey.com before, but I got unflavored, it was despicable. If I go with a whey, which is doubtful, I might get it from there. My friend pointed me towards proteinfactory.com, which has a caseinate for only $6.50 a lb or something along those lines. That looks like a great deal to me.

Try the vanilla isolate from allthewhey.com. That's what I get.

I personally don't buy health foods thinking they are doing to taste good... I'm used to REAL chocolate shakes, McDonalds, pizza... well, you know. It's only been a couple weeks, but I'm getting used to it.
One thing I learned with any drink, whether it be protein or creatine, etc... if I can't get it down in a max of 2 gulps then I am using too much water.
Creatine I have learned to just put on my tongue and wash it down with water, almost pointless trying to mix that stuff... a scoop of protein on the other hand is a different story. It mixed well, but I mix it with water (heard that's the way to do it for best results). Tastes better with milk, but I can 'chug' water better anyway.
PS
I have no idea why I just wrote all that... I got into reading the replies and it started talking about taste I guess.
Anyway, I'm tired so you'll have to forgive me this once...

I've found that 1fast400 has really good prices on all supplements. I've shopped around and they are the best deal I've found when you take into account total cost plus shipping.

Alright cool. I was checking 1fast and they seemed alright, I just hope they will take my card. I have a debit card, but protein factory would not accept it.

Your debit card needs some type of credit attached to it. They're not going to accept a debit only card.

Usually the price they list and then $5-6 more. 1fast400 is about average as far as whey protein goes, but when I count in shipping its still more expensive than going to a retail shop.

Well I order ON 100% Whey from them. They charge $5 shipping on the first 10 pounds of your order. Total cost for 5 pounds of whey is $30. Total cost for a 10 pound bag is $50. Then they add 50 cents per additional pound over 10 pounds. They ship UPS ground, which gets to me in less than a week from when I place my order, but I suppose that is dependant on where you live.
What store can you buy a good brand of protein powder at for that low of a price? Don't forget you don't pay sales tax online, which also saves you.
