Whey Protein Deterioration

Hello ppl;

Someone told me today,that if you don`t drink your whey protein 30 minutes before mixing it with milk, the protein in this combination will deteriorate :O(
I usually mix milk with protein @ 8am and don`t drink it @12. Am I missing some or all of the protein inside my protein shake?

Thanks oin advance,
Kevin DaSpaceman.
