Whey Protien Powder vs Skim Milk

I read on this forum that whey powder is made from milk.

My question is, “why not just drink skim milk instead of buying whey powder?”

Skim milk has one of the best protein to fat ratios I have seen, even compared to a lot of so called protein powders. . .

You are aware that whey is a dairy derived protein right?

Sure am. Some ppl can't stand the lactose....some can't stand a specific sugar.....I just know I can't stand milk Goats milk doesn't bother me and it doesn't seem to bother a lot of those who have milk "allergies"....but the powder is nasty and the liquid isn't cheap. So I switch between goats milk and Rice Dream for on cereal etc.

Do you realize how much milk you'd have to drink to get the protein found in two scoops of whey protein powder?
