wieght gaining supplement..good/bad????

I was thinkning of trying those "bulk u" supplements that provide like 2500 calories per serving and come in big 5lb.-8lb. jars. They cost like $40 and have only about 5 servings per container. My question is...do they work? are they safe?...is the wieght gain FAT or muscle?..and where do u gain it..in your arms or in your belly? are they worth it...(it saves about 3 meals a day with a 4000 calorie diet). They contain about 40g-50g of protien (dont the quality) per serving. WIll it help bulk up?....or just grow my belly?? i really appreciate any responses and insights. thanx

Those things are usually loaded with low quality proteins, sugar, and Maltodextrin. If you have a seriously fast metabolism and cannot gain weight no matter how much you eat, then you might POSSIBLY get a bit of benefit from it. Otherwise, they are pretty much crap - causing as much fat gain as muscle gain.
