Bro I've used Xenadrine in the past with good effect (from 16%-10% BF in 9 weeks) but I have to say that I did experience a significant loss in muscle mass.

However if you are careful with your calories, consume enough protein and keep your lifting hard and heavy, there is no reason why you can't keep your muscle loss to a minimum.

(during this cutting phase I had a particularly hard gardening job that took a lot of of me, I wasn't really taking any notice of the calories I expended when I was digging all day)

If your job is less demanding then it will be easier to keep a track of your calorie intake/expenditure.

Yes, I used Xen EFX and I experienced muscle loss too! It didn't help any fat loss at all. Yes I did lose some fat but it was because my stirct traning and diet. I think Xen efx is really a crap. I used to get better results even with L-carnitine. I am not sure my muscle loss is related with Xen, but I didn't change anything, except starting using Xen and I started to burn some muscle.

i used hydroxycut (virtually the same i think) and i was happy as with the results. i lost stuff all muscle and strength only dropped slightly such as either a couple less reps or maybe 10lbs on the major lifts. in 4 weeks with a reduced cal diet (increased protein and reduced carbs) with extra cardio i went from about 18%-12% bf%.

do it smart and its good stuff, don't take it late at night though, the stuff gave me hypo energy.
