I'm sure this topic has been mentioned in the past, but what do people think of this guy
Gregg Valentino ? Although I've been disconnected from the bodybuilding "scene" for a while I've still heard of him, and I'm interested to know people's opinions.
I heard also that somebody died whilst trying to emulate his "hero" by injecting his biceps with engine oil. And reading a few sites it looks like there are a fair few people out there who actually admire this guy. He claims to have the biggest arms in the world, yet despite their obvious nature (i.e. synthol and fluid) he's wrong. Plenty of overweight people have arms bigger than 28 inches and theirs are all natural.
I literally cannot understand the mindset of a person who uses synthol (and similar) anyway, but to go to that extent is surely a sign of great mental instability. But if this is the case, why does Mr Valentino have what seems to be a significant fan-base?
IMO it's people like this who will turn bodybuilding into more of a laughing stock than it already is.
Anyone have any comments on this? Apologies if this is the wrong forum, but it somehow seemed appropriate
