exactly. what also screwed the deal for me is learning what "results not typical" really means. on another board, one of the members was contracted to be a fitness model for some fat-burning supplement or other. she was contracted to lose 40lbs in six weeks and they would give her whatever she needed:
meal replacements, anabolics, thermogenics, you name it. she also did 2hrs cardio a day, maintained a 1400 cal/day diet, and did weights four days a week. the first set of pictures, they had her bloat herself up, wear a swimsuit with an unflattering cut, and stand with poor posture in an overlighted set. in the final set of pics, she wore a very flattering suit and was optimally posed with careful lighting.
oh, yeah: if she failed to meet the goal, she lost the contract.
ever since i read that, i've just generally not bought any product where it says in teeny tiny little print "results not typical" or "results may vary".
