Thumbs up

I have worked Goblet Squats into my evolving/revolving routine for the last couple of months. I really like them.
I can really feel my core muscles working and stabilizing, and my legs get a nice burn as well.
In fact, I like them better than regular squats right now.

Give `em a try!

I love goblet squats as they prove a nice change of pace compared to front and back squats. The main thing with goblet squats is you go a lot deeper than you would with normal squats.

Goblet squats have been part of my routine for a long time. If you're looking for a substitute for the regular squat, goblet squats should be first on your list.

You get a great range of motion in your hips (you go a bit deeper than usual) and you don't place any excessive strain on your lower back because the weight is so close to your body.

Remember to maintain good form throughout the entire movement.

Youtube will always have videos of any exercise you want to learn.

With Goblet Squats you hold the dumbbell close to your body. It is held in an upward position... like a goblet. I have yet to try these but I will give them a shot on my next leg day.

With the goblet squat, you take a kettle ball and hold it close to your chest. Elbows should be tucked in and you squat with it, making sure your shoulder doesn’t round as you squat and go up.

Actually, Goblet Squats began with dumbbells. Check some of the old BB pros and you will see them doing them with dumbbells. Google is your friend.
