all the videos are nuts.
we all have moments in our life that change us and change the way we see things. i saw something that solidified my fitness lifestyle a few months ago...
i was in line at subway when i noticed a gathering of folks next to the fountain drink station. i looked over to see them worrying/helping an old lady that had fallen. i also noticed a few people helping her husband get to her. he was on a walker and could barely move. seeing BOTH of them in this state, i had to wonder what kind of physical condition they were in. i could only assume that, like most older folks, exercise was not part of their daily lives. i get it. not everyone has the same values as us. i dont put my values above anyone else's, but i cannot understand the idea of not taking care of yourself to the point of being so physically incapable of some of the simplest things. i understand that medical conditions, especially at that age, play a factor, but i have to wonder, how many of those conditions would have been eliminated/lessened had they exercised regularly. i cant pretend to know their situation. all i can do is do what i can to give myself the best opportunity to not end up like that.
