Isn't it hard to eat right when you are around 8 year olds??? Fruit Loops, box mac and cheese (yuck!) and all of the kid friendly meals.
I've got a 9 and 5 year old.

thanks for the tip Dark, ill grab some next time at the store, i been tryin to load a lil bit heavier meals toward the end of the day to help fight off the late night binge... i think part of the problem is workin out like 6-7pm, and then so jacked the rest of the night i dont unwind till 10-11... then the hunger sets in... so im gonna try to work out in the morns come fall time, when the bulking begins...

I like Coco Puffs like you like Lucky Charms Actually they like MY cereal - they call it "old people cereal" - Quaker Oat Squares and Grape Nut Flakes. I tell them Raisin Bran is a kids cereal by telling them, "just look at all that sugar on the raisins!" It works and at least it's a little better for them than CC Puffs!
I refuse to get them anything that turns their milk purple or green! Oh, and ketchup is red, not green or purple!
They are very active kids and play for excercise.

AMEN!!!

i enjoy organic gardening in my spare time (4 kids spare time, LOL) anyway, i like to grow bush beans, real good for the soil, and very easy to maintain, high yields, well, there is a variety i like to grow which gives you purple string beans!! they turn green once cooked but very "neato" to see before...(speaking of colored food)...

...just popped in my head... how about the dinosaur cereal that when you pour milk on it the eggs hatch...

...i read your proclamation of loving squats from a different thread, I'm with you, perhaps i enjoy them cause im a newbie and dont know any better but the rush and the insane delayed muscle soreness that occurs is too good to pass on...im adding another set to my squat day, free weight squat, ive been doing them in the smith but i have a good mental picture of what needs to take place....so im gonna go for it, see what happens

Biceps Day
output

input

Notes: Was pretty good workout, 2nd week of keepin the elbows in fixed no swing, cant seem to get the dumbell past horizontal towards the ends of the sets, but press out the reps as is, the pre-exhaust is really making a difference in the intensity of the post work out feeling. I dont know how well the 7,5,3 is working, sometimes i just feel so spent in the 5/3 sections... but after a few i can go 7 then reachin 4 is struggle and good for one more...im guessing if i return to a 8rep set after a few weeks of this 7/5/3 my weights will go up, should be interesting...

DIET is crushin me a bit, eatin clean but just not enough, although goin on vacation , so im lookin slimmer even more so, another day of not breakin 2k cals...gonna go slim till 8/31......

notes:
the 80 leg squats on the universal for pre-exhaust got me good, had burn before th real work began, smith squatting doing good, must check form, the dead lift went very well, at one point it felt like i "finally got it" as in correct form and all, it was very easy to move the weight when i got into this groove... tried free weight squats for the first time, started bar empty and when i got to 90 on each side plus the bar, i had, had enough... last sets...well it went well till i started gettin near a decent weight mark for me and the smith, the squat sensation made me wanna go backwars over my heels, i guess that is from the sitting down sensation i do on the smith...tried delt curls ... hurt a bit i could feel them real well.. perhaps a lil too much weight till i get used to the move..diet is crap again, only 1900 cals... ate clean but just not enough, at this caloric intake i need to add cardio to help me drop more till sept....

on vacation, eating right (most of the time) doing current routine, found a nice gym in myrtle beach, enjoying life...ONe note, i seem to be losing much weight while here, my abs are telling me this... its probably cause my late night cereal raids have diminished.... i saw a bill board i really liked.....

its not recreation, its Re-Creation!

Officially done with vacation now, first and foremost i wanted to thank ya'll for the great help and information, ive used lots of it to improve myself and yall should be proud of yourselves for helping someone you dont know from adam... ok so vacation was good, first time ever i was proud to take my shirt off at the beach get tannin oiled up and go for a walk. Not sure others enjoyed it but it made me very very happy!! My eating was good, though i probably lacked in the caloric intake most of the time, i got a real nice six pack workin which is how i know about the calories...
so anyway... july was the end of the 7rep/20sec/5rep/20sec/3rep routines, i did it for four weeks with each day begining with two sets of 40 rep exhaust warmup... i didnt really see any weight progress but i feel stronger now...
so for august im returning to the 2 set 8 rep count with as heavy as i can and still manage proper form. I plan to continue on the cut phase, of low calories, finish out the summer....fall will begin the bulk, but before we get to that... we got lots of work to do...

Input
(need to compile but im guessin somewhere in the 1800 range today)

Output
power press 2x8 155lbs
Incline db press 2x8 55lbs
flat flye 2x8 35 lbs
db pullover [QUOTE](see thread)[/ QUOTE]
dips 3x10

Notes: wow it worked, i guess, i skipped the pre-exhaust, instead warming up with about half the weight i would attempt, one set of 8 warm ups, then attempted the weights, all new highs for me, i completed them all!@!@# I bump them all next week, i also made a mental deal with myself when i could to 3x10 vdips to buy a weight belt, and guess what, im shoppin now!@#!@# My allergies are goin nutso, though they opened up when i got active... i also began to play raquetball, it was fun, done it once before... i plan on usin that for lots of my cardio, it seems like a fun game...
