Day 4: Lower Body - Hypertrophy
Squat: 125 x 6, 130 x 6
Deadlift: 190 x 8, 190 x 9
Good Mornings: 100 x 8, 100 x 10
Clean and Jerk: 140 x 3 (just fooling around at this point)

Comments:

Although i did really have the intention of pushing myself during these workouts, several of my friends came over and decided to be assholes. It's hard to lift when people are cracking jokes the entire time... o well, it is still better than nothing in my opinion.

Today was my first workout in my loading week of my 5 x 5 cycle. It felt incredibly ****ty... might have been the fact that overall my day was bad, also that i waited till 8, i don't know... next time i am working out when i have the energy no matter if i got homework or not...

Anyways i wanted to paste my current training cycle(loading and deloading) just so people could make sure i don't have too much volume. I am thinking of perhaps splitting the cleans and jerks into their own day along with some other pull exercises that i can remove from deadlift day. What do you think?

LOADING(1-5)

Monday(Bench):
Bench 5 x 5 85%
Clean and Jerk 5 x 3 90%
Close Grip Bench 3 x 8 80%
Wednesday(Squats):
Back Squats 5x5 85%
Front Squats(from clean) or Stop Squats 5 x 5 85%
Bent Over BB Rows 3 x 8 80%
Friday(Deadlift):
Deadlift 5 x 5 85%
Partial Javorek Complex 3 x 6 85%
Good Mornings 2 x 8 80%
Saturday(Assisted):
Bent Over BB Rows 3 x 8 80%
Straight legged Deadlift 3 x 8 80%
Bicep Curls 3 x 8 85%
Squats 2 x 20 70-75%
DELOADING(6-7)

Day 3(Upper Body)
Bench Press 2x5 50%
Clean and Jerk 2x6 40%
Bent Over Rows 2 x 6 - 8 40%
