Amanda's April Fitness Journal


So I decided to do just a monthly journal since my workouts have been fairly sporadic. I'm setting short term goals right now to get back into the shape I was. I miss being in that great of shape.

So I will be recording workouts and food in my journal both until I get my food back on track! If I know the caloric breakdown of my foods I'll include it. As penance I am gong to try and do the breakdown for at least a week or two.

April 9, 2008

Breakfast Tim Horton's Breakfast Sandwich with Bacon*
1 XLrg Coffee with 2C 1S*

snack Apple

Lunch Cheeseburger and fries (I totally forgot my new plan of eating healthy lmao, but wasn't too bad it's an actual hamburger not fast food and sitting in oil, real cheese, and sweet potatoe fries)

Dinner Chicken club sandwich

Snack Apple

So far for the day: 1588 calories 36.2% fat 15.3% protein 47% carbs My calorie counter website gave me an A- lol I went to Tim Horton's for dinner and stayed away from the coffee haha

10 Pushups
15 Situps
50 Squats

15 Pushups
15 Situps
50 Squat

15 Pushups
15 Situps
50 Squat

*OK I KNEW the breakfast sandwich was 400 calories BUT I did NOT know that my coffee was adding 230 calories!!!!! Sometimes I have 2 or 3 a day!!!!!!!! So i's only 9am and I'm already at 640 calories for the day!!!!

hey amanda, great to see you journalling again!!

that is crazy that you were drinking 2-3 of those 230cal coffees without realising!! At least you weren't drinking mochas lol (500 probably!!)

I know. Thats nuts. Coffee by itself has no calories through in two creams and it's like a snack lol.

So Yesterday. April 10th..

I woke up to a foot of snow!!! I only had time to get my boy ready and out of the house. Left for work at 9 and got there at 11:40! So no workout.

Food:
Breakfast - shreddies with whole milk
snack yop
Lunch - microwave dinner lasagna
mid afternoon chicken salad sandwich
dinner microwave dinner chicken alfredo
oh and 1 xlrg coffee 2c 1 sugar
2 glasses wine.

April 11th

crunch up and cycle legs 20 reps
frog crunches 2 sec. hold at top 10 reps
10 pushups
lunges 1 leg at a time 10 reps each leg
bicycle crunches one side at a time 1 reps each side
10 pushups
10 deadlifts with max. contraction of hams
bicep curls with a band 20 reps
30 tricep extensions with band
10 dips between two chairs

Then my workout ended as all my son wanted to do was dips on the chair lol

Squats
35lbs 20 reps
85lbs 10 reps 3 sets

Alternating Lunges
40lbs 16 reps 3 sets

Calf Raises
20lbs 12 reps each side 3 sets

Leg raises 10 reps 3 sets

15 min run
