Amanda's Journal

Well my baby turned 1 on Tuesday so I don't feel right calling these workouts my "post-pregnancy" workouts any longer lol.

So they are just my workouts. I do have to say I've been doing real well and am losing weight lately. Since I returned to work, now I just have to get in the gym once or twice during the week along with my weekend workouts/runs!

So this morning July 20th:

3mile run in about half an hour outside. I love Calgary. the mornings are perfect. It gets hot later in the day but you can still go outside in the morning and be comfortable. It was the perfect temp for running!

I thank everyone who posts in my journal it definitely helps my motivation. I DO READ yours I swear, as that helps my motivation too. Makes me want to get my but in the gym so thank you. I just don't have much time to post anymore. My new job doesn't allow me to go online while working lol.

Went for a run with a friend who doesn't run lol. So we were out for about 45 min. Did a combo of run and walk. Then on the way to work did a couple of wall sits on the train. That adds an interesting challenge. The first one was 1:10, and the second was just over a minute.

30min run. I am SO not use to running on an empty stomach. Cut the run short in distance, and ran faster than normal so there was more walking... I don't know either way I felt like it was a decent wo. I was up for an hr. with my son before I went too so I was starving lol.

3.75 mile run in 43 min. - horrible, but it's been a long time since I ran that far so can't complain too much I gues. I have been to the gym since the 15th - I just don't remember the specifics - like dates, and what not. oh well.

what is funny is my son likes to sit on my back while I do pushups at home. He thinks it's a ride lol. Makes pushups harder - an extra 22lbs! which happens on a daily basis. if I'm even sitting on the floor he wants me to do pushups lmao.
