Amanda's July Journal


So I know I keep going MIA, but I'm determined to stop that. I've started running after my son goes to bed so no choice since the roads never close

Tonight did a 2.9 mile in 27 minutes.

Yesterday 3.8 in somewhere around 40-45 min

Last Friday 2.9 in about 35 min

I'm planning a 5 miler for friday.

Every morning I do 15 pushups, 15 situps, 15 squats (not alot I know) for now this is my "regimen"

Thanks Pierini I always think about this site lol. It's been a big part of my life, and seems to always be able to give me motivation. I love the fact that no matter how long I'm gone there are familiar faces like you to come back to. I feel like I've missed out and now have a bunch of journals to catch up with!

So didn't get my 5 miler in life got in the way. However I did spend that weekend at the Stampede. SO MUCH walking, and I was very good on the treats lol. Just a few mini doughnuts! Last week was a 1215-815 work week so no running. I did however walk 3.5 miles one day.

Tonight. 4.4 miles in 48 minutes!

Hi Amanda,

So good to see you keeping fitness in your life. It's not always a straight forward consistent path for Moms, but do what you can when you can and you'll be fine! There were a couple of years where all I did was situps, pushups and stretches every morning along with all the other kid raising activities I needed to do. It didn't stop me.
