Amanda's Nutrition and Fitness Journal


So I'm going to start training for a half marathon in Dec/Jan time frame. Right now I'm building up my base running and strength training. The marathon is on May 31st so I've got the time to train. I'm a single mom of two kids ages 3 and 5 months so I don't have much time to get to the gym - maybe three times a week if I'm lucky until my ex gets his act together.

I started a couple weeks ago and lost 5 lbs in 2 weeks meaning I've lost all the weight from before I got pregnant with my youngest. Just have to finish losing the weight from the first still lol.

One weight workout so far.

Deadlift, Row, Assisted Pullups

Deadlift 35lbs 10 reps 40 lbs 10 reps 50lbs 10 reps
Row 35lbs 10 reps 3 sets
Assisted pullups 80lbs 10 reps 90 lbs 10 reps 2 sets

HIIT cardio for 20 min.

Then went swimming for about half an hour.

For nutrition today October 19, 2009

Breakfast: Half a whole wheat bagel poached egg and glass of milk

Snack: Yogurt

Lunch: Peanut butter and banana sandwich with milk

Supper: 2 pieces pizza - with cheese, pepperoni, and pineapple

Snack: bowl of cereal

1 Beer.
