WOD
21-18-15-12-9-6- and 3 rep rounds of:
1 1/2 pood Kettlebell swing
Pull-ups
Instead of Kettlebell I used Julian - 22ish lbs lol
Instead of pullups I did pushups
I'm at home, and can't make the gym today so had to do some subbing. I did one round. I think that's all I was suppose to do...
Time of 13min
Will try to do more later. WO was interrupted by a diaper change, and a feed lol. will update this post

Julian had a blast. He was upset when we were finished lol. He made the pushups harder to get through cause he kept trying to crawl under my face

3 mile run 29:27. this was the hardest run I've done in a while. I don't know why, but just didn't have it today. I ended up doing 10 and 1s. I usually get cramps when I try that, but not today! For the first to 10s I did 5 min on 6.5mph, and then decreased by .5 for the next 5 min. The last 10 was all messed up as I really really had to talk myself into finishing, and almost quit a couple of times.
Abs:
feet to hand ball pass - 10 reps
frog crunch - 10 reps
4kg medicine ball twist with a bounce 20reps
crunch with 4kg medicine ball in air 10 reps
bicycle 10 reps each side
side crunches with 4kg medicine ball 10 reps each side
feet on ball hands on floor bring knees to chest 10 reps
4kg medicine ball twist with a bounce 20 reps

I've was at the gym not last week the week before for a run, but that's it. We've had a visitor from Ontario for a couple weeks, plus I've had job interviews and my schedule just hasn't worked out to make it to the gym, but I bought a jogging stroller so I have gone on a few runs!

Weekend:
I didn't run on Friday which turned out to be not that bad of an idea! On Saturday we went hiking in Johnston Canyon again. We did a total of 12km hike. 6 up 6 down. I carried Julian for 9 - almost 10 - of those KM! In total we climbed over 215 metres! It was an awesome workout for the lower body. Then Sunday we went downtown to the "Lilac Festival" and did 3 or 4 hours of walking down there. My but, and hamstrings are sore Back to the gym tomorrow though.
I also got a job! I start June 12th so we'll have to wait and see what happens with my workouts then. It's going to be challenging to keep them up since I'm going to be missing so much time with my son as it is the last thing I'll want to do after work is go to the gym!

It's great when your recreation is a workout!
My youngest son is spending the summer in Calgary with his friends. He called me for his "weekly obligation chat with Mom" while he was at the "Lilac Festival" listening to a very quirky digeridoo band! Either the festival is big or Calgary really is a small town.

The festival was alot bigger than I expected. We walked around for like 3 hours or more, and didn't see the whole thing. I wouldn't call Calgary a small town anymore, but sometimes it still does have that small town feel which is nice.

June 1st
Warm-up - jog to gym with stroller
Squat* - 105lbs 8 reps 125lbs 6 reps 145lbs 3 reps - I think I could have gotten four, but 3 was shaky and I had no spotter
Bench Press* - 85lbs 10 reps 105lbs 6 reps, 4 reps
*After I finished my workout when I was leaving I was talking to another lady who told me the bar I was using was actually 50lbs. So The weight for each of those may be 15lbs higher which would mean today I squatted 160lbs, and benched 120lbs. She said she was 100%positive, so I'll confirm that the next time I'm in, but for today I wrote down what I thought I was doing.
Chin up - got up to bottom of my nose, no pause, then up to forhead with 15sec pause
Dips - 8 reps
Assisted Chin up - 40lbs assistance 4 reps
Lunges with 25lb dbs held on shoulders - 16 reps
Bicep Curl 20lbs 8 reps each arm - alternating arms
Dips - 8
Bicep Curl - 22.5lbs 8 reps each arm - alternating arms
Dips - 8
Bicep Curl 25lbs 6 reps each arm - alternating arms
Skullcrushers - 40lbs 8 reps
Bicep curl 27.5lbs 4 reps each arm - alternating arms
Dips - 8
One Arm Bent Over Rows - 37.5lbs 8 reps 42.5lbs 6 reps
Abs:
Ball pass between feet and hands - 12 reps
v sit with twist using 8lb medicine ball bounce on each side (I think - it was the blue one) 20 reps in total
bicycle one side at a time - 12 reps a side
Just want to add that while I havent' been working out every day I do walk every day for a minimum of half an hour. I also do random sets of pushups, situps, squats throughout the day. I added up yesterday and I ended up doing about 60 pushups, 45 situps, and 50 squats throughout the day. It's all broken up though so I don't count it as an actual workout.

Oh and even though I'm not losing weight I am noticing I'm getting... firmer. My triceps are getting back to how they were prebaby. I'm getting some definition again! So if I could just get my diet under control I'd be good. I'm starting TODAY! I'm going to actually consciously watch what I eat and stop eating icecream, and cookies and stuff. I've never had to try at this before. So I've been having trouble actually doing it, but today is the day I'm getting it done!
