Really? I have no idea what is average for biking - or what a good distance is in a certain amount of time.

May 19th

Swimming!

40min.

I dragged my but out of bed this morning and into the pool. It was awesome! I haven't really swam in about 5 years. Maybe even longer and I forgot how much work it is. I did 14 lengths of front stroke total. (length being from one side of the pool to the other) Not all in a row, but in between I did a slow swim on my back. I'm beat lol. I thought I'd come into work, and work out on my lunch hour, but walking here was a chore. I'm definitely going to go more often!

I don't do the stationary bike often, but being as far along as you are, and keeping that pace it looks pretty darn good to me. I admire your drive to keep working out. That should be one healthy baby!

I'm thinking swimming is ideal too. I really wanted to workout today, but I found it so tiring. I took it easy, but then I feel like I'm not doing enough. That swim on Friday was great. I felt it everywhere. I'm going again this week - maybe thursday and friday.

Swimming

Today I did 20lengths! So 500m. I noticed that my avg. length time is 34 seconds. That's concentrating on going slow, and getting my breathing right - which I haven't managed to do yet lol. All 20 lengths were front stroke. 1st two lengths were nice and easy on my back to warmup, and I had 4 total rest lengths that were on my back nice and easy too.

What a great workout. After being lazy the past couple days and skipping my workouts I needed a really good workout!

Nice work. Are your shoulders feeling it now? When I was swimming a lot I also noticed my core getting pretty well worked.

My shoulders really do feel it. Along with my lower back. That's why I want to get my DH in the pool as he needs to strengthen his core, but he has a phobia of water I have to get past first!

Then put him in a PFD for a while. Sure it looks a little silly, but it helps keep the head up, you have to work harder to swim because it's in the way and slows you down...better than not swimming.

lol. I'd love to see that. If I keep bugging him I'll get him there I'm sure. I keep telling him he needs to know how to swim for when Julian is older, because my kids are going to swim. I think every child should know how to swim!

May 29th

Warm up 10 min on stationary bike

Opposite arm/leg raises - ttl 16 - 8 each side
8 DVR bicep curls - 5 seconds up 2 seconds down max intensity
15 Pushups
16 assisted pullups - 110lbs assistance
15 cable rows - each arm - 30lbs
8 DVR bicep curls - 5 seconds up 2 seconds down - med intensity
15 Pushups
10 dips

Weight 181lbs. 35lbs weight gain so far!

I have no motivation. Swimming yes, this no lol. I feel so big and heavy. I swear my belly is getting bigger daily lol. We moved yesterday and that's part of the reason I'm so tired. It was a long day. I was going to do a lower body w/o since it's been a while, but I just didn't have the energy! Plus it's about 41degrees with the humidity and I need to save my energy for walking home in that

Well those are my excuses for the day.
