Very true!

December 30th

3 mile run - 28:57

Stretching afterwards.

Felt nauseous going into the run, and better after it. Gotta love that.

January 5th

Happy New Year!!

3 mile run - 28:23

Avg speed of 6.4mph. What I actually did was:

1st 5 minutes - 6.0mph
2nd 5 minutes - 6.5mph
3rd 5 minutes - 6.0mph
Then from that point until the 2 mile mark at 7.0mph
From mile 2 - 2.5 at 6.0mph
From mile 2.5 - 3 at 7.0mph

HR was about 181 in one minute it was down to about 151.

The past 4-5 days or so I've not done too much. On Saturday the 31st I did Tiger moves, and 25 pushups.
January 1st - 25 pushups
January 2nd - Tiger moves
January 3rd - 25 Pushups

Hopefully that is it for the slacking. Yesterday I was extremely nauseous (almost throwing up), and tired so no workout. As long as the nausea isn't that bad I do plan on working out since it does make me feel better.

Are you really pregnant? You are really kicking butt in the gym still.

Thanks! I've totally felt like I've been slacking lol.

January 10th

3 mile run - 26:46!

Felt great!!
1st 5 min - 6.0mph
Next 15 min - 7.0mph
2 minutes - 6.0mph
the rest at 7.0mph

Probably didn't need the 2 minute rest at 6.0mph, but my 2 sentence talk test was becoming a bit more difficult than I liked.

Weight - 150lbs

Sunday and Monday I felt horrible, and had the worst headaches! Sunday was the worst of the two days. I think I may have just let myself get too dehydrated as I don't drink as much water on the weekend as during the week. So I've made more of an effort to drink even more water. I was drinking about 64 - 80 ounces a day, and now I'm pretty much at 100 every day.

Sadly I went from feeling great to feeling crappy again for the rest of the week. The headache was always there just waiting to come back in full force. I did the Tiger Moves in the evenings and left it a that.

January 16th

2 chinups
6 Assisted chinups - 40lbs assistance
15 incline situps
10 dips
1:35 minute wall sit
25 Pushups
2 minute plank
8 Assisted chinups - 40lbs assistance
1:35 minute wall sit

Lots, and Lots of stretching. So far so good this week!

hey - at least you got some in: don't discount that, but maybe it's time to get those headaches checked out...? i had a headache lasting much of last week - finally went in and the doctor said it was a migraine (been AGES since i had one of them; long enough i forgot what they were like) and gave me a couple pills.

My next doctor's appointment is the 1st of February. For now the headaches are gone. They went away Saturday night. If it comes back though I will call my doctor, because I rarely get headaches.

hmmm... you know, it could be your spine. it might be that your lower back is starting to pull and that's causing pressure on the nerves.

That and the circulatory changes your body makes - it's supporting two lives now and one of them is taking everything it needs from you. I've been the dad through a couple of these things - they do get better. Hang in there.

Thanks Bronco!! Haven't seen you around in a while!

I haven't had any more headaches. A couple of almosts, but I think it's when I have too much salt. The last time I noticed it was after I'd eaten 2/3s of a package of those soda crackers the ones you put in soup. So I've been watching the salt and drinking a ton more water!

Overall I am starting to feel a bit better. I've been told at 4 months things get better for a while, and that's only a couple days away!

1st 5 minutes 6.1mph

Headaches and morning sickness are common 1st trimester complaints. magically one day it all disappears and you will feel on top of the world for 3-4 months.

I hated the headaches!

It gets so much better.:
