Sometimes I wish I could work out with some people on this board. I would TRY to run up that hill and stuff, but I would need someone screaming at me to keep going....lol

Yea, I know how you feel. I almost had a workout partner, but it didn't happen so still by myself. I know when I'm trying to get that extra mile in, especially when I was going for 11 and 12, if I had someone on the treadmill beside me willing to talk it was alot easier!

Well, I have 3 w/out partners that are dedicated and consistant with the weight lifting, but no one at the gym for cardio....
That's o.k. though, I get lost in the music and its alright, but I like the idea of running outside, mixing it up and stuff.

Yea running outside is great, I don't live in an area where I feel comfortable outside. In a few months I hope to start running at the Running Room they go out every Wednesday night and Sunday morning and one other morning. They're free runs whoever shows up just runs together!

That sounds good, maybe you can get a lifting partner out of the deal too.
We don't have anything like that around here that I'm aware of, but I don't know if I could keep up anyway, really have to build up to running. Especially outside. How's things going over there otherwise?

Things are going, not getting any worse anyways. Tomorrow will be my first day back to the gym in a while and I plan on getting in a full body workout on weights. I'm also going to do a 45min run, so it'll be quite the workout I'm sure. I'm also going to try and get in there on sunday. I don't think I've ever been to the gym on sunday first time for everything I guess.

Oshawa Ontario, it's 29 but 37 with the humidex. I grew up in Calgary Alberta, where if it does get above 30 it's dry so ya don't really feel it! This heat is killing me!

It's been in the 90's & 100's where I live in Virginia and it's 100% humidity. It's miserable. I wish I still lived in the midwest.

Sunday should probably be pretty nice down there at the gym, probably not too crowded........I still think it sucks you don't have a partner to lift with.
