The running room and running club sounds awesome!!! I wish I had that option. Good to hear your moved and settled for a little while. I'm moving in 2 weeks and I'm about to go nuts. Packing sucks.

That's cool the (first) move is behind you! The running club sounds good, also running outside will give you a chance to mix it up some....

Yea Andrea packing does suck. Even though we are moving in a month again it'll be nice not to have to pack since most of our stuff is in storage! It's the one bonus lol

Amy - running outside will should be great! Especially if Don decides to join me once in a while I hope to make it out tomorrow for my first outdoor run in about 5 years

He never works out or what??? Seems like a lot of people have SO's who don't get into it and that's a bummer because it really would be something great to share together. I love how my brother and his wife are into this whole thing together. Same with Cursor & Lady C. It can really bring a couple together I think.
Sooooo glad you'll be able to take some packing time off....
I hate moving!!! I guess it depends how much stuff/junk you own. I try to keep my stuff to a minimum, try to only own things I really use because the stuff becomes a burden. You guys aren't pack-rats are you?

Don never use to but just before he broke his hand he had started running and push ups sit ups calf raises etc. anything that could be done without joining gym etc. He wants to be a firefighter so he has to work out now We aren't really bad pack rats, just a bit, but we tend to clean out when we move and start over lol

Well tried to get out for a jog this morning but my lungs aren't completley clear of my cold yet so just did some pushups 2 sets of 15, and sit ups 1 set of 25, 1 set 22, 1 set 15. Hopefully the lungs get better soon, and will try again early tomorrow before work...

Take it easy cause you don't want to make your cold worse.

yea it's just hard Because of my asthma if I get even the slightest cold (which this one was, just a scratchy throat) it's guaranteed to end up in my lungs for about a week or so, monday was the first day I could really feel it in my lungs so it should be working itself out..

Ya, there's something about being outside instead of the gym that feels great and is so refreshing. That's why I like to take my walks around town. It really helps me and I just love getting out, having some alone time, being outside, listening to my music, it feels like the exercise itself is just a nice side benefit sometimes...

Hey Amanda, I'm also wanting to run a marathon. MrsRiley found this article for me and I thought you might find it helpful.

7:45 - 3 granola bars breakfast

8:45 - 7 mile run 69:4 with a 5 min. warmpup at 5.5mph. I didn't get to stretch very well so I hope I'm not too sore to go out tomorrow!

10:30 - organic yogurt parfait - yogurt (plain I think) frozen fruit, granola cereal with hemp seeds, almonds, and a few other types of nuts (very good and very filling) milk with a scoop of vanilla protien power. (The whey protien)

1:30 - fish, mixed veggies, pasta

5:30 - ham sandwich on whole wheat bread with cucumbers, tomatoes, and cheese
