I'm still here kind of, I've been working crazy hours the last week, and it's been real busy! Lots of overtime which is good in a way. Should start to slow down again this week which would be nice cause now I'm getting a cold

Tuesday September 14

It's been over a week so I don't remember with accuracy my diet, but I got a 20min run in. It was a very fast paced run outside. Which was great.

Breakfast: Oatmeal and milk

after run: Cantalope and cottage cheese

lunch: chicken breast pita

dinner: Make your own pizza Mozzarella cheese, chicken, green pepper, mushrooms, onions, pepporoni - it was very filling

That sucks, Colds are the worst. Don't you hate it when you go into a grocery store or something and the person behind the counter is just coughing and sneezing everywhere and you're like, "Thanks a lot for spreading the love......"

I think its great you're running outside. Seems harder than the treadmill you know.
Everything going good w/ roommate and stuff?

Yeah colds are def the worst especially when you work out all the time....it can slow you down from getting to your goals. The best thing wit colds is to jsut take it easy and let everything get back to the normal.

Yeah i have been running outside alot lately and it feels great to breath in that fresh air instead of warm stale air from a gym.

Keep on keepin on!!

Yep that's how I got this cold. First a friend of the guy we are staying with had it gave it to him, he gave it to my BF, then he gave it to me  Oh Well. Amy the stuff with the roommate didn't work out too great. She ended up stealing our remote control for cable (how pathetic!) and a book of mine, and we didn't have a place of our own to stay so we ended up at a friends for this month. On the plus side we told the cable company she stole our remote and they gave us another one free because they thought she was such an idiot

I love running outside!!! I agree with you rrouleau the air is so much better! I went out for a run this morning even though my lungs weren't 100% and I think it helped clear them out cause it was nice and cool. A lot better than running in place on a treadmill, and definetly harder!!

Thanks for stopping by

Wednesday September 22nd

Had an apple pre run about 7:15 just to have something in my stomach. I did the same route as last time which is about 2.77 miles according to map24.com and increased my time to just under 30minutes

Got back to the apartment had a coffee, then some oatmeal.

Walked to work, 35 min walk. Lunch was beef stew on a small portion of rice and some kiesh.

Great Time!!! Nice to get in some walking to/from work as well! Last time I was on the treadmill @ the gym I was thinking about some of your times and see how slow I am!!!! Plus you were doing it outside so that is even harder....that is really fast.
When is that marathon you were going to enter? What is going on with that?

Hm - Weird about the roommate - why in the world would someone steal your remote control? your book? what the heck? I'm just glad you're out of there before she got her hands on something more expensive. Well, hang in there, things will get better!...(That's what I'm telling myself also these days since I'm short on cash right now..... )

Thanks Amy!!! What I wanted to do was the half on Sept 26 and then the full on October 17th, but I injured myself (way back in april/march) and used that as an excuse to slack off So the next one isn't for quite a while. I am thinking of doing the Ajax 10 mile run. Then in December there is the Santa Shuffle, I'm not too sure on the distance of this one, but am looking into it. I know for sure I can do the distance for the Ajax 10 mile right now and it would be good experience before entering a marathon.
I am considering, let me stress considering , the resolution run is on January 1st, early morning.... depends on what we are doing for new years
Yea that roommate was pathetic. We couldn't believe it when she said she took the remote and was keeping it  get a life. She kept the book to be a bitch cause it was a Christmas present from my BF.
