Oh, the only football I can take is Superbowl...

That noise in the background all day drives me nuts. I used to live in this apartment over this old man who would sit in his backyard it seems ALL DAY LONG and listen to baseball on the radio......drove me INSANE IN THE MEMBRANE.....

I don't know how many calories. It's impossible to tell. I've tried using fitday but don't find it helpful at all! For example yesterday the stew I had there is no way to tell how many calories are in it. (there was no nutritional description) I can't tell for when I'm at work because I have no idea what they cook with. Usually that is only one meal a day but it's been more lately because I'm not able to bring my own food right now. Starting in November I'm going to try and see if I can figure it out but I don't know.

I honestly don't know how everyone figures out exactly what they are eating! How do you figure it out when you make dinner?

My goal this week is again 0. I had considerably less this weekend than normal.

Edited to say my goal for cigarettes is 0

I really dont know how many cals im consumeing either but i can geta rough estimate. I get all my stats from fitday. If it was a stew like you were talking about...i would do it roughly by adding each veggies or meat to the list and then getting a total.

My meals are easy to figure out......i have really simple things to eat like chicken, tuna, rice, potatos, beef, pasta and so on. My meals are really simple and plain. I just add spices to get different flavours.

0 is a great goal!!! so far ar eyou on track to meet your goal?

I know the past 2 months have been horrible for eating! It's been BBQ everything! It's getting really annoying. Once we get moved and can cook only for ourselves again we're stuck feeding everybody, and/or depending on other people I'm finding it hard to eat enough in one day lately because I've been running more, and don't want to eat all kinds of crap!! I'm trying to do fit day but I can't find for example buns! It says my calories are at like 1000 for yesterday but it's got to be more than that! I wasn't hungry and I basically eat when I'm hungry.... (after and inbetween my normal meals)

Wednesday October 13th

Breakfast about 1hr before run yogurt and granola

5.92k run in 35 minutes

had a banana about 2 hours after run

lunch was vegetarian lasagna - VERY VERY GOOD! with seared turkey cutlet, and mushrooms + glass of milk

apple

more veggie lasagna (not very much) and 1/2 glass of milk

I can't wait til' I can bring more of my own food so I don't have to eat the garbage they serve at work! It's all fat. I hate it. Everything is fried or deepfried, or cooked in cream, all the fattiest cuts of meat etc. Plus they don't provide anywhere to store a lunch
(fitday says my calories are at 1918 - fat 27% carbs 53% and Protien 20%)

On fitday........you can make custom labels. For example....Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey is not on there but you can make custom nutrition labals and put the specs on there. You know what i mean. Liek for the buns.....look at the label and inpu thte stats on the custom label.

I think thats a good enough cal intake to start off at....but it looks liek our not getting enough protein. Maybe too much fat. Try to change your food around to get like a 40/40/20(protein/carbs/fat). Or 40/30/30. SOmething liek that. Need more protein thats for sure. Hope this helps some.

Ya, well, I don't bother counting all the calories and doing all the breakdowns and all that. If you just eat 5-6 meals of healthy foods throughout the day you'll be fine. I used to love fitday but now I never go to that site. You're right, a lot of it isn't helpful whatsoever.
Well, hope you'll be able to get your eating back on track soon (cooking and work...)

rrouleau, I agree I am having too much fat, and that total is probably low because fitday veggie lasagna is made with 1% skim milk, here at my work it was probably made with cream. When he gave it to me he said "it's fattening" Everything around here is. I am going to try to make my own lunch starting in November and then go back to fitday and try it again. Meanwhile I try to keep my snacks healthy and only eat once at work.
