P.S. On that treadmill, how is it on your knees lately? Because I was thinking maybe mixing it up and trying treadmill instead of elliptical for a while, but don't want knees bothering me again.

My knees have been fine. So have my ankles and my hips. I make sure to stretch before and after and it helps alot.

I am trying to eat more cottage cheese, just trying to find a way it tastes good (besides in lasagna  ) I use to eat a lot of yogurt but I have become lactose intolerant in the last few months so I've cut back. But I've noticed a lot of what I use to eat has dairy!

I think I'm going to try yogurt again though and cut back on the milk
No problem. Yogurt doesn't have much lactose because of the bacteria cultures in it. You should be fine with it.

I hope you understand, now, how to incorporate egg whites in your first meal (boiled). Cook them the day after or for a weeks worth to save time!

I am going to add the egg whites to my morning meal! Thanks for the info about yogurt. I'd been avoiding it and most dairy because the effects are not pleasant!

Red face

Well, won't be able to get back to the gym until thursday so I've decided to roller blade to and from work. It takes about 20 -25 min, got a couple of big hills, better than nothing I guess, and I'll post what I eat as well.

6:20 - rollerblade to work

7:00 - yogurt, with granola

7:30 - coffee

11:30 - pasta (don't know exactly what was in it) - I think with ham, onions and a few other veggies, and it was cooked with eggs I think. Roasted potaotes. chicken wings. Button Mushroom salad. I needed more protein here but didn't have anywhere to get it from! everything here is always fat and carbs

3:00 - peanut butter and jam sandwich. I really hate eating at work! I wish I could afford to bring a better set of meals each day!

5:00 - rollerblade back to bus station

7:00 - Kraft dinner with cream of chicken soup and a bite of a vanilla oh henry Horrible dinner! Nothing else in the house Grocery shopping on Thursday :

Yea I had to bring a change of clothes. I can shower here too. But it was nice and cool this morning so didn't get too sweaty but once I start working evening shifts, I'll have to shower as well! Good exercise though.

Not so well right now. My boyfriend got laid off, and I didn't make it to the gym at all last week! My running is falling behind Hope to get to the gym at least 3 times this week. We'll see though I have to take as much work as possible right now!!
