Hows everything going? Hows the workout?

Thanks for asking. I'm just starting up again, things have been hectic. Got in a quick HIIT session on Wednesday. Will get some weights in tonight and some spinning and yoga on saturday. Hopefully next week I can get back into a routine of my workouts again :

That's a bummer but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do, hate when life gets in the way of working out though..that stupid little money detail...hehehe....what about the roller blading to work, can you still do some of that to try and get some cardio in?
Well, if you get set back a little, it's o.k. you'll be up to speed in no time, maybe you'll benefit from a little break too. (that's one way to look at it...)
hang in there woman

Thanks!! I'm still rollerblading when I can. I need new brakes soon (no money for that). Should be able to get back at it regularly next week. (cross fingers)

Not bad. Got a good 35 min run in on friday at 6.5 mph. Felt great! Was suppose to go to spinning on Sunday, but my BF and I got this miserable stomach flu. I've still got remnants of it seems to be nothing but setbacks latelty. Kind of discouraging. Don't want to push myself and jump back into the gym. I've barely eaten anything in the last 2 and a half days. Today will be my first day back at eating normally. So we'll take it slow Thanks for asking! Should get some form of a workout in on Canada day, whether it's the gym or sports down at the lake. We'll see!

Well for Canada day we walked down to the lake, which takes just over an hour. Threw the football, baseball and frisbee around. My arm is pretty stiff Diet was very bad! Didn't eat anything between 5pm and 1am, My BF broke his hand just as we were leaving for the day We didn't get home from the hospital til' 1:30, ate some hot dogs (yuck!) went to bed, I was up at 4:45 to go to work What a day! So I don't think I'll be at the gym today! Back on Monday

Yea that's what we were thinking! Makes job hunting a bit difficult when you have your arm in a cast! Whats the saying, when it rains it pours! Definetly true!

Is he right-handed or left-handed? Wonder which arm it was? Well, what kind of work does he do, what I mean is, will that arm cause a big problem performing his type of job? How are you workouts going?

He fractured his right hand. Hes left handed. The jobs that he'd be looking for would be all physical/manual labor. He had to have surgery yesterday morning to screw the bones back together, so it's not nice! All his fingers are in a cast except the thumb. Its really hard for him to do normal everyday things never mind working! My workouts aren't that great for the past few weeks. Had a lot going on! I'm going tonight for sure! Also I'm walking to and from work everyday which is a 30-35 min walk, at a fairly good speed. If I ever have extra money I'll buy new brakes for my roller blades and roller blade back and forth. For now just trying to stay afloat.
