I had to rest today. I was pretty sore from yesterdays workout. So now Im only going to be able to do 5 workouts of negatives as opposed to 6. Oh well, it shouldnt matter too much. On my last day, I'll probably do a double workout.
Nothing else really happened today. Starting to get really cold here though .

I felt alot better today so I did my 2nd workout of negatives. It went really well. I like negatives but it prolongs my workout since its very tiring and I need more rest in between sets.
I have a minor sore throat and cough today so I upped my vitamin c to around 2 grams and have been taking some medicine.

Sore throat has gone away. I still have a bit of a cough though. Its kinda annoying. No fever or anything though, So im fine other then the cough.
Did my 3rd workout of negatives today. I had no workout partner so I had to do drop sets on most things. Will try and do negatives next time though .
At least I have no school tommorow .
Diet has been going really good. The only meals I miss are the before bed meals because I fall alseep lol .
Tommorow is my 2nd to last workout of negatives.

Sounds like you got exactly what I did. Put a damper on my workouts last week and now I sound like Fran Dresher.

Thank god for no school today. I was sooo tired.... Got 11 hours of sleep .
I also completed my 4th (2nd to last) workout of negatives today. Man there really hard to do about now. The negatives and drop sets really are intense. Thank god I only have one more left
I also only have one more day lef of bulking. Then I start a 12 day cutting phase and do a normal bulk.

Bulking is over already . Last day of negatives was today. Im both happy and sad . I noticed though that the l weights I was using were becoming alot easier. Must of been because of the 5 rep ranges.
And today marks the last day of my abcde bulk. Once I finish up my abcde cut, I plan on doing some sort of strength training program like westside barbell training or maybe even dual factor hypertrophy training becuase I need more strength. I think my workouts were effected a bit because I was using to low of weight at some points, and sometimes had to use the same weight for 2 workouts. So i need a program to add strength while still adding some mass though.
New measurements will be up tommorow.

First day of cutting today. I have to say, diet went really well. My plan for cutting is too rest today, max out tommorow on some exercises to see how my strength has improved, then take a 10 day SD.
I also took new measurements today:
Arms: 12.25 (relaxed), 13 (flexed)
Chest (around nipples): 35 (relaxed), 37.1 (flexed)
Waist (around belly button, relaxed): 30.5
Quads (middle part): 19 (relaxed), 19.5 (flexed)
Calves: 13.75 (relaxed), 14.3 flexed
Weight:153
*measured in inches and pounds
Arms have finally broken the 12 inch mark ^_^. MY chest is also groing at a real good rate. Lagging behind I think are my legs and lats although my legs look noticably bigger. I can also notice more seperations between my deltiods and my middle back and triceps seem to have grown alot and traps have went up in size as well.

Yes: the bad part of the atkins diet is that it limits your calories by limiting your carbs. absence of carbs = lower seratonin levels.
no it cant. Prove to me how it can... Go back to your cardboad box and let my journal be .
ps - i been deadlifting and squatting for 2 years.. and grown 7.5 inches (went from 5'1 to 5'8.5). I would say its genetics except for the fact that my mom is 5'3 and my dad is 6 feet.

my resource is "FITNESS THEORY PRACTICE" put out by Aerobis and Fitness Association of America (Chapter 5) The Musculosketal System on page 41. due to copywrite laws i am unable to rewrite the paragraph. It does say in my words that: before age 20 the bones are not fused/hardened they are still in a cartilaginous state.
again, i apologize for upsetting you. I will not bother you again, i will stay in my cardbord box.

thank you.
"It is believed that calorie restricted diets reduce Serotonin levels which cause cravings, over eating or binge eating. Low Carb Diets tend to maintain Serotonin levels better in many people thus improving the success of low carb diets. Tip: 5-htp can help maintain Serotonin levels thus reducing hunger and improving your success. (see Stop Food Cravings - Boost Serotonin Levels with 5-HTP) "
"Many times we hear people say that young children should not perform heavy weight training in the fact that it stunt's their growth. Many scientist have researched this and provided evidence that this theory is not true. The Soviet Union published a book known as 'The School of Height' debunking the myths that children should not do heavy weight training. Great Britain published a journal study supporting this, outlining tests they performed on young power lifters showing they had better bone density and their bones where much more durable than that of children not subjected to heavy weight training or any other form of impact loading.
It is also relevant to note that athletes subjected to heavy loading and resistance are relatively free from osteoarthritis in old age and the subjects that were not exposed to heavy loading and resistance show a much greater incidence of osteoarthritis and cartilage fibrillation. Furthermore, there has also never been a documented case that claims weightlifting has stunted the growth of a child.
What many people dont understand is everyday physical education classes and activies that have nothing to do with moving maximum weight is far more dangerous and hazardous to your child then lifting weights. The soft tissue and connective tissue injury rate is rather low in competitive weightlifting compared to that in contact sports such as football, rugby and soccer.
From 1977-1988 permanent spinal injuries in high school football players reached 96 and 15 in college during that time.
From 1984 to 1988 over 15 high school football players ended up brain dead and 3 college football players ended up brain dead.
Even martial art sports have more spinal injuries then Olympic Weightlifting who of which has recorded ZERO!
In force plate test have shown that jumping is actually six times more stressful on the knee and connective tissue then squatting with heavy weight. The spin actually will obsorb more shock from jumping then placing a heavy load on shoulders where the body supports it.
I could really keep on going on this subject throwing many figure and stuff out to you guys but why so? weightlifting is safe and will NOT stunt your growth. You have a better chance of having brain damage or some life tiem disability from playing your every day sports you play in PE class then lifting heavy loads."
have a good time.

Today is my 2nd day of cutting and is also my max out day. I got some new PR's!! This is what I did:
Machine bench press:200lbs
Bent Over rows:150lbs
Deadlifts: 230lbs
Barbell Curls:100lbs
Military Press: 100lbs
I was able to add 10lbs to barbell curls, 25 to deadlifts, and 15 to rows.
The rest of the day went pretty well.
