woke up early today to try and fit in a workout before a yankee baseball game .

training went like this:

barbell curls
10x10 (30lbs)

skull crushers
10x10 (30lbs)

lateral raises
3x11 (8lbs)

bent over lateral raises
3x11 (8lbs)

im definatly increasing weight on barbell curls and skull crushers, but im going to leave the raises the same and concetrate on form.

diet was okay for the most part. like i said i went to a baseball game. so i had pre workout meal, then post workout meal, then i had lunch, but then i had a hot dog and some chicken fingers because there wasnt anyhting there :-/. I came home and had dinner and carbs because i needd to get them. THen i ate normal again .

felt good to wokrout again. tomorow is leg day and im all healed .

another leg day >_<. almost threw up more then last time. The problem is the stiff legged deadlifts. I cant go up and down like that =\ after squats. But i managed to squeese out the 10 sets of 10 reps for both exercises even witht he increased weight.

Squats
10x10 (76lbs)

Stiff legged deadlifts
10x10 (76lbs)

Calf raises
3x15

Weighted ab crunches
3x15 (13lbs)

everything increased 5lbs from last week and i can still add more weight .

diet was pretty good for the most part. Was a good day in my opiniion.

Today was a pretty good off day. Diet was good and i got 11 hours of sleep something i dont normally get (usually 7). ITs been a week, only 11 more to go. I thought i would update my measurements:

Arms: 11 (relaxed) 11 7/12 (flexed)
Chest (around nipples):32 9/12 (relaxed), 34 3/12 (flexed)
Waist (around belly button, relaxed): 30 inches
Quads (middle part): 18 3/12 (relaxed), 18 9/12 inches (flexed)
Calves (flexed): 13 (relaxed), 13 4/12 inches (flexed)
Weight: 133.5 lbs
Age:13 3/4

i was amazed myself. I couldnt belive it was true =/. But according to the article, an increase in muscle by around 2lbs wasnt uncommon =/. I also gained some fat as well judging from my wast and a bit of definiton lost in my muscles. here are the increases though:

Arms: +1/8 inch (relaxed), +1/12 inch (flexed) (my arms are one of the first places to store fat so its not that surprising)
Chest: +1 9/12 (relaxed), +1.25 inch (flexed) (chest also are one of the first places to store fat)
Waist: +.5 inches
Quads: +1 inch (relaxed), +1.25 inch (flexed) (I wouldnt be surprised from doing those 10x10 squats)
Calves: +.25 inch (relaxed), +1/3 inch (wouldnt be surprised, my calves grow from anything , there my best feature...)
Weight:4lbs (my goal was to gain 3-4 lbs this week)

so judging from my measurements, i'd say im doing pretty good. I still cant say how much of everything was muscle or fat though but i did the measurements as i did last time. So its pretty accurate in my opinion.

Today was chest/back day and man was it hell with the stretching. Here is how it went:

Flat dumbell bench press
5x10 (28lbs), 1x9 (28lbs), 1x8 (28lbs), 1x7 (28lbs), 1x6 (28lbs)

in between sets, i crossed my arms and put them on opposite sides of each other and stretched them like that.

Bent over barbell rows
9x10 (76lbs) 1x10 (76lbs)

inbetween sets, i did this stretch ( i did both arms at once):
http://www.exrx.net/Stretches/BackGeneral/FixedBar.html

Chest flyes
3x11 (18lbs)

in between sets, i did the same thing as the other chest stretch

One armed DB rows
3x11 (28lbs)

inbetween sets, i did the same thing as the other back stretch

Im going to stick with the weights on flyes and db rows to work on my form a bit. Rows im going to give another week so i can get the 10 sets of 10 reps and same with flat dumbell bench press.

I had pizza for dinner and it actaully wasnt that good mainly becuase im so full all the time.

Wow pretty good results so far maybe once im done cutting i'll try something similar to this.

One question keto, how tall are you and whats your bf? I am asking this because maybe these are just some initial gains because your weight seems very limited? Are the gains gonna stop after a while or are they supposed to keep goign?

Im 5'6-5'7 and my bodyfat (before i started) was around 12.5-13 percent. I gained half an inch on my wast so i dont know how much it is now.

The gains seems to be pretty good. Im increasing weights rapidly and according to the measurements, im doing just fine. According the the MM article, the body wont adapt to the constant change in calories so i guess the gains would stay the same until you reach your genetic peak.

So the basis of what you are doing is overtraining yourself while overfeeding yourself and getting extra rest to compensate? Sounds like something fun lol. The only question i have is how healthy really is this for a growing body especially at 13? I do not really know too much about this but this sounds like you are overworking yourself. However, hell if it works more power to you just don't hurt yourself. If this goes well for you i may do the same thing once i am done cutting.

idk about the over training part. I just chose GVT as it seemed pretty good and fit in with my plans well. I dont belive i can overtrain my muscles if im getting enough sleep and food. My cns is another story .

i guess i should be eating cleaner but surprisingly im not getting too fat i think .

i dont think it wil be hurting me. Im not underfeeding myself as recocmending in the abcde article (going to do a normal cutting diet), infact, i think im going to do protein cycling which means on some days ill be eating 300 calories extra and im always sure i take in enough vitamins/minerals/calcium a day .

if i like the results i get from this ill stick with it for awhile. I like experimenting .

ps- if you start directly after your cutting diet, you will get even better gains then i did (i started from a mantainince phase). The increased hormone effect will be greater (which is one of the reasons for the cutting part in the abcde diet, the other one is to lose some fat and prime hormones) and you can put on even more muscle/strength.
