Ashley's Fitness Journal
Hi guys,
I'm Ashley. I've been lurking and making the odd post around for a few months now.
I've finally gotten my motivation back to start eating properly again so that I can see some more progress towards my goal.
Here's a bit of background; At the start January I was weighing in at 113kgs (249lbs), my eating habits had gotten ridiculous and I decided I had to do something. So, with the help of my mum, and a good deal of dedication on my part, I was able to shed 13kgs (28lbs) in around 12 weeks and I was weighing in at 100kgs (220lbs). Following this my weight has fluctuated between 100kgs (220lbs) and 104kgs (229lbs).
I have decided to start shedding some fat once again and hope to get down to 95kgs (209lbs) in about the same time (12 weeks).
So, I will be keeping a detailed log here of my daily food intake.
For the record, at the moment, the only supplement that I am taking is a multivitamin.
Please, feel free to leave your comments and feedback as it is bound to help me along!
..If I've forgotten anything, I'll keep editing this thread.

u can do it :o)
Good girl.. just make sure you are eating enough to keep your body running.. what is your calorie intake? I highly recommend you keeping track.. that way you can see if you are eating enough.. are you exercising? This is another really important part of losing weight, besides just eating differently.. keep it up )

Definitely a guy, the last time I checked, thanks fengalon!
mixtic187: I don't feel hungry throughout the day, only between my late afternoon snack and dinner.
I'm currently in the process of gathering all of the nutritional information for the food that I eat and then I will be editing the posts with the said information.
I haven't yet started an exercise program, I have been doing some resistance training at the gym up until recently. I am going to start going for a run and swim before work in the morning soon.
Thanks for your input!

Comments: 100kgs! Amazing! Most of that is no doubt water weight or my scales are broken. I was pretty disappointed with my efforts today, splurged a little with the Mars bar, and ate way too much bread. Also out of fat reduced milk too, doh. Back on track tomorrow!

Hey, don't worry about the little slip. The trick is not to let guilt drive you. I used to have the oh-no-i-ate-crap-might-as-well-eat-junk-for-the-rest-of-the-day mentality. Packed on a lot of pounds that way lol. But really, we all slip up sometimes (some more frequently than others ). Just pick yourself up and continue from there.
