30-32" inch waist, what a pity You know you might not have so much trouble eating if you varied your diet. It seems you tend to eat the same thing over and over, and over lol. When I grocery shop I buy healthy foods I love so I can look forward to every meal.

I thought of that and gave it a try. I even dirtied it up a while based on firehawk's advice with a few trips to taco bell. Didn't work. I just don't have an appetite. If I've got to force it down and hate it, I may as well get the most nutrition I can out of it.

I kind of did that today. I forgot to eat at 0800 and 1000 so went to the local mex place and had chili colorado with beans and rice. If I can remember to eat my other regular meals, I'll have pizza, cake, and ice cream tonight if I can get it down. Just have to remember to tell myself that it's energy for a future workout.

Eating is on track today. Got very hypoglycemic yesterday, that is not consistant with what I have to do. I can't allow that to happen again.
Squats were odd today. 155 felt like it was going to mash me through the floor. Then 165 was easy. I was suprised that I actually got all the planned skull crushers at 90lbs. My arm strength seems to be staying with me although I've lost about an inch of arm size over the last couple of months.

Hey Andy,
Got to say that to work 40 hours straight and get this kind (or any kind for that matter) of workout in the next day, you have some pretty good endurance. More endurance than most probably.
I must say that I may have a problem if I tried the same thing.
Not bad for a guy fighting off the ravages of a CNS disease. You must be doing something right eh?
Good job
Dan

Thanks. I try. Sometimes I get it right, sometimes wrong.

In a foul, pissy mood all day. Needed to burn off some energy and frustration.
Cardio bag work. I don't know what to call it because it was just for 20 minutes of HIIT (a quickie because I had a party to host). No clean kungfu or karate, more like boxing with some kicks thrown in when my arms were tired or when the bag moved too far on a swing to be in reach for my next punch.
Then the birthday party. Nothing like a bunch of smiling, happy kids having a great time to brighten one's day. Now they are all home, I'm tired and hoping to get to bed soon.

Hang in there Andy! I'm eating more because I know you are in my club and need some company. I was offered pizza for lunch to day so I accepted and ate my broccoli salad (loaded with homemade mayo) along with it.

First workout of the new year and it wasn't too bad. Hey, made it through another "heavy" day without getting hurt.
Squat.....135, 145, 155, 165, 175
Row.......120, 130, 140, 150, 160
Bench.....120, 130, 140, 150, 160
Cable Crunch..............90x3x10
Squats were heavy today, next time will be light squats and heavy deads. Row/Bench was medium, next time is heavy for them.
Got all but one meal in yesterday, only about 650 cals short for the day. Today, eating is on track and just as forced and unpleasant as always. Eating sucks when you have no appetite at all. I think next time doc offers marinol for the muscle spasms I'll take her up on it for some appetite stimulus. Munchies would go well with a bulking and performance oriented diet. Plus it'll be fun to F* with 'em on the drug tests at work.

I used to take weed in order to induce munchies (or was that a side effect?)

Don't know, never tried it. But from reading about the marinol after doc asked me to try it for the spasms I imagine it would be very similar but with more consistant dosing than getting it via the "tommy chong" method.

Diet is the same every day except for my post workout dextrose/maltodextrin kooliad.
Workout has changed a bit. It's a 3 day rotation. Still squatting every time though. I'm doing a real starr 5x5 now, with deads, rows, and pullups to replace the olympic lifts that I don't know how to do.

Squat.....125, 135, 145, 155, 165
Dead......155, 165, 175, 185, 195
OHP........................90x3x5
Cable Crunch...............95x3x8
Pullup.....................50x3x5
Weights still sneaking slowly up on schedule. Next week I'll be pulling over 200 again. Not close to where it should be, but will get there someday. At least my light squat day today was last weeks heavy squat day.
Food is on schedule for 4K+ today.

Squat.....135, 145, 155, 165, 175
Row.......130, 140, 150, 160, 170
Bench.....130, 140, 150, 160, 170
Curl.......................90x3x5
Skull Crusher..............90x3x5
This was a long, pain in the butt workout. Too many interruptions. Had to chastise a child and a wife to finally get it done.
Once again, the 2nd to last set of squats felt like it was going to drive me through the floor. But I got the last set just fine.
Direct arm work felt good today, I'll be feeling it tomorrow though. Bench and row are progressing nicely on schedule. 170 is nothing close to a PR, but still it felt good to be pushing and pulling heavier than I have in a while.
The rowing movement has been foreign and awkward feeling for a while. Today it felt normal, natural, and good with no low back stress, really feeling it in the lats as I should.
Considering that yesterday and today both legs feel like they weigh 700lbs apiece, I've been nauseated with vertigo, and generally feel like a mouse that's been "loved" by a bobcat...it was a pretty good workout.
Late start on eating today, but am on track now. I'll get most, if not all of my calories in for the day.
