Isn't it amazing? How great we feel when we eat the way our body wants to be fed, rather than how we want to feed our body.

Went to the doctor this afternoon.
Good news: Blood pressure 144/80, best in months but not yet down as low as my "new normal" of 106/60 that I kept for a very long time. Blood sugar (non-fasting) was 85. This is good for me. Fasted should be 65 and non-fasted 85 for me on this diet...or at least it was before, but I'm eating more than before so I don't know.
Bad news: Lost 9lbs this week. I really hope it's just water. Weird, looking bigger and better but 9lbs lighter.
Worse news: I'm still not going to live forever. At least I'm a bit closer to it than I was over recent months.
Other news: Won't be checking lipid profile for a few months. No time to make significant changes in a week. Probably be done in June or July.
Still more news: The day wasn't a fluke. I still feel pretty good.

Pretty nice changes for only a week. Still not a beast though. Give me another year then we'll see.

Wow, my journal was way over on page 2. That means that folks are still posting in the workout journals. Great job - it's march and folks are still hittin' it.

Repeating week 3 now.
Front squat.....45, 55, 65 x5 warmup
Squat...........75, 85, 95, 110, 125
Bench........105, 120, 135, 155, 175
Row..........105, 120, 135, 155, 175
Cable crunch.................110x4x9
The new diet is great. Strength and energy are going up. I'm not holding nearly as much water. Even my legs felt stronger earlier, but were a bit jiggly when I got to the last set. Working with 125 sucks when the 175 on bench and rows is going up the easiest it ever has. I think this week or next I'll have to increase the calories a bit though. Probably by adding another meal to the day.
In case anyone is curious and wants to be jealous. I've eaten pancakes, biscuits, bacon, mexican, hamburgers with buns, and pizza so far this weekend.
For those not doing the anabolic diet.
A whole cheat weekend is the coolest thing of all. I think I'll cut it out early tonight because I can't think of any more crap I'd like to have. Back to meats and green veggies by supper time. Whether I actually grow or reach my current goals on it may be another matter entirely though. But what the hell, I feel good, my blood pressure is better, my blood sugar is stable so I'm happy with it.

Naah, they are just warmups and I'm learning to do them right so I'll be semi-prepared when I get ready to learn the olympic lifts.
Look at how light they are.

No, I only do 5 rep sets. Except on medium day then I end with a 3 rep set. Next workout after a 3 rep set I repeat it and finish with the same weight using a 5 repper again.
