oooh care to share what that is? my mascara stays put most of the time, but sometimes my skin just looks gross after a CF workout, i'm guessing it's because i've wiped off my cheek bronzer...and my face is shiny with sweat.

luckily on saturday mornings i go with tinted moisterizer, a swipe of blush/bronzer and some lip gloss, but when i do CF workouts after work, if' im wearing eyeliner it likes to smear sometimes...

i want to hear your tricks!

Ok confession time.. I am an eye makeup junkie (eyeliner and mascara minimum, full 3 colour shadow when I have time). I rarely wear foundation, bronzers or even blush because I am quite white and I blush/flush from exercise. I also look pasty wearing it during the daytime. It's great for evening events or photos. I do layer on the concealer though.

Lips? Forget it, too much maintenance . I still have good colour in mine even at this age.

You've got to remember I don't work in an appearance competitive workplace. The quality of my work is the bottom line.

So now I just load up on mascara and go. It's one of the benefits of getting older. My looks don't count as much.

No don't swing. I make sure to touch a toe to the ground to stop myself before the next.

Wow I would have never guessed that you are an eye make-up junkie! See I'm in the opposite boat. I don't like to wear eye make-up but do for my job...gotta look the part. I need a job where I can go to work in sweats or gym clothes and no make-up! Weekend workouts are great and i can rub my eyes if sweat gets in them! haha. wow how do you put on 3 colors of eyeshadow? that must look cool, i've tried that before when going out but don't know how to blend properly.

If i don't wear blush i look totaly washed out (yes it's possible for a brown person to look washed out!) almost ashy. a little bronser gives me some glow! oh and i am addicted to the nutregena chapsticks that have a bit of tint to them. now tell me this. what does conceler do? when i went to the make-up stand they put it below my eyes, but i have seen the stuff in a tube that people put on zits or is that foundation?

LOL - I'm revealing my make-up secrets on a fitness site!

Since I am so fair skinned and older (and have peasant like east European genes) I have a tendency towards thin skin aka dark circles as I get older. The concealer helps a lot. When i've got the time, I do the full tilt eye thingy, just for me, even if i'm not going out. I go for consultations every 3-5 years on the latest fashion colours and application techniques. (I would be lost without my brushes.) But then I am an artist at heart.

I sweat but usually it's my hands and body, not my face. Now that I've discovered chalk, I use it all the time.

Brat's journal is going to end for a while.

I'm still working out and following goal plans (did crossfit yesterday and got totally smoked by the rx-ed reps so I had to scale down - TOO MUCH CARDIO !)

Meanwhile this was not a bad phase. I am eating more greens mostly in the form of salad. My cals per day are not quite as high and I seem to be growing muscle shape now that the intensity is a little less. (I'm playing with "how much exercise and what combination is just enough")

Anyways my visits here will be intermittent while I transition places. Look for me in a new journal. If I end up blogging I'll link to it in my profile.
