great workouts brat, 5 CFW in one week is good going... is your pullup ability improving? Do you find band assisted are better than jumping for increasing pullup strength?
also that is an awesome job on murph, i have yet to do it in full. I can't believe you did it in the rain!!

Thanks guys!
Sept.13 - Thursday (barely recovered from Murph then....)
"Kelly"
5 rounds for time:
400m run (subbed 500m row)
30 box jumps - on 20"h tire
30 wall balls - 8#
Time: 46:12
WALLBALLS FREAKING SUCK!!
------------------------
That was my first murph (and first kelly). We were told not to do the murph Cindy style but just manage our work-rest intervals accordingly.
M-M, the bands are a little better for imitating a kip with, but they are awkward for standing in. Inevitably you kack-out early even with an assist. I do feel that a kip may not be too far away for me, but my standard pullups are still stuck at 2-3 reps at a time.

Great job on Kelly!
I've only done it once and still remember those wallballs!

Yeah, my legs were "cooked" by Friday night! I asked for a non- leg intensive WOD for Friday and...well... at least I got the best score of the set.
run 200m
45 lunges
12 PLU
45 squats
12 ring dips
all for 3 rds
It was all good.I decided that I need to take 5 consecutive days off so I'm back on Thursday. I feel great - no chronic aches and my hamstrings and hip flexors are finally relaxing! I do spontaneously drop into a few air squats during the day and do sets of 10 pushups before bed for some strange reason. My dog is also going for "a run" not a walk in the morning.
It's time for a new journal though.
