Hey folks!

6 September 2004

Jaster's oh so wonderful chest routine. Man, I LOVE your routines. Just how do you do it? Haha, anyways, I went down on the dumbell bench press in order to get my reps up to the 8-9 range. Otherwise things went well.

I'm thinking about buying some creatine, because I want to get a bigger chest and put on some mass, and since I live at a boarding school, meals are usually non-weight trainer category. I have protein powder, so that's not a problem... just curious about the creatine.

Did Jaster's leg routine. Nice. I haven't done any running all week. I can feel my gut coming back (and see it too) in force, but this has been going on for a few weeks, and frankly, I don't think I'm gonna care. I just want to pack on some meat, BABY!

However, I really don't want to get out of shape, cardio-wise. Running is the only form of cardio I can do. I'm too poor to join a gym (they're expensive here), and I don't have access to a proper bike (and I hate riding normal bikes unless it's in the city where it's nice and flat). So running is my thing, though I also might do 2-300 jumping jacks, or punch the bag, etc.

I've decided to try to go for my goal of 1500m in apprx. 4 minutes. The other day I almost won the school's 100m dash. I got the best time in the heats, but in the finals I had a really bad start (the guy next to me told me so), and was runner-up (about 0.05 seconds behind 1st). I was SO close to catching up. Time was 11.75 seconds, and I had the wrong shoes and we only have a dirt track.

I'm going to drop my endurance training. At one point I was running what must've been 60 kilometers a week. I hope to keep my time for a 4 miler at sub-30 minutes, so if I ever feel like starting up again, I'll be ready to go.

Anyways, those were my thoughts for this week.

Tribute to the victims...

Did my push-up routine today. Everything went good except the leg-raises... could only do 21.
