Welcome to the Online Journal forum.

I've done weighted pullups and dips in the past, although with less load than you are doing. I can appreciate the strength requirements of your loads.

Based on my experience, I would not be doing weighted dips with a less-than-100% shoulder. You are asking for trouble in my opinion.

Here is a link to a blogflection I recently published demonstrating a shoulder flexibility exercise I do that has made my shoulders feel great:

I don't know if it would be helpful to you as I don't know the extent of your shoulder injury/pain.

Train hard, be smart and be safe!

Thanks Perini,

I had posted a topic in the forums about my shoulder and where the pain is, it does not hurt my shoulder when i do dips at all. It only hurts when i do stuff like bench pressing, you know?

Howdy!
Remember, your shoulders are your friends! Love them, care for them, feed them meat, flexibility and exercise.

Ambitious goals for this month. I'll be cheering for you!
