Ever hear of www.fitday.com?
I think www.fitday.com is a great FREE website. I use it to keep track of everything I eat. The website even provides you with detailed reports on calories burned vs. eaten, whether you've fulfilled your nutrient requirements, etc. You can set custom nutrition goals, and the website will monitor whether or not you are meeting the goals. The website is soooo useful for me because I am a vegetarian and it helps me keep track of my protein and vitamin B12 intake. Good luck! :

Even though this seems to be a spam post I will leave it. Most everyone here already knows about fitday.com and if you search for it you will see it has been discussed often =)

depaulchic,
I was so happy when I heard about it too! Love it! How's life as a vegetarian???? Must be hard to get all your protein?

It's great! No it's surprisingly easy to get my protein. As long as I eat some egg in my salads, and make sure I drink enough milk and eat some legumes, I'm just fine. Life actually seems simpler as a vegetarian. I don't have sooo many options to choose from, and it's easier to choose healthier options instead of burger and junk.

Ya, my boyfriend was reading an article online about a documentary called "Supersize Me." This man went on a McDonald's-ONLY diet for one month, meaning he at at McDonald's for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day for a month! He gained over 30 pounds, and the doctors were appalled at the rate at which his health deteriorated! His liver levels were all out of wack, and his cholestoral sky-rocketed. As soon as he quit the McDonald's diet his health went back to normal. I don't think the documentary is available yet but it's a perfect example of how the cheap, fast food may not be the healthiest option!

lol! it's great that your daughter is reaping the benefits of your new health-conscious attitude! what better way to teach healthy living than to do it yourself as an example! don't know what to do about the boys, but maybe they'll be incentive for her to keep up the good work, lol! good luck! :
