For background:
I am 19, i weigh 190-195 lbs and am around 6'0 tall. I have been slightly overweight or pudgy for most of my life. Last summer i finally got into shape. For the first time i was proud of how i looked and felt great about myself. At that time i weighed about 175-180 lbs. That all changed when i went to college. Since september i've gained 10-15 lbs, my arms have gotten smaller, and my chest has gotten flabby. I am back to my pudgy self again. For all that don't know or remember, college life basically entails a crappy diet, high alchohol consumption, and little motivation to do anything else but the above mentioned activities. I periodically worked out since september doing
weight lifting and VERY brief cardio but i am still not happy with the way i look. Its time to change. I've started a new workout and perhaps this journal will give me the motivation, or at least guilt trip me into staying with it.
By the way, if anybody has any advice for eating well at college i would be very happy to hear it. I don't have very much money and the only place i really eat is at the college cafeteria or late night junkfood munchies. My diet is really my biggest problem and i would really appreciate any help from anybody.
Anyways, onto my workout. I'm doing a 3 day split i found in Men's Health. I don't know if it is the best workout for making the quickest gains possible so if anybody has any suggestions i would very much appreciate them.
