Due - nice job, but you are going to go broke if you keep lining up the ladies like that! Hope you know of some cheap restaurants/night spots

June 30, Wednesday, was Chest/Tri Day.

Ugh, i didn't get to bed until 1am the night before and got up at 6am. That is not even close to enough sleep for me to function all day let alone work out. But, i gave it my best shot.

BB Flat Bench Press

195 x 3 (got 4 last time)
195 x 3 (got 4 last time)
195 x 2 (got 3 last time)
Due to sleep i think. I also had alot going on and had to "cram" my workout in, so I couldn't focus on it too well.

BB Incline Bench

160 x 4
160 x 4
160 x 3
All sets one rep lower than last week's i think.

DB Flat Bench Press

77 x 4
77 x 4
77 x 4

SkullCrushers

80 x 5
80 x 5
80 x 4

No bench dips this week

Cable Pushdowns

65 x 5
65 x 5
65 x 5

I didn't feel that great about this workout. I woke up during skullcrushers, just got PIIIIIIISSSSSSSED off. Started KILLIN the weights lol. Anyway, women on my mind and no sleep are a deadly combination...

not too bad Fire, and your probably right about the sleep and women on your mind, they definately can impact your workout if you let them... just kick it up a noch next time and make sure and get your sleep...

July 2, 2004. Friday, Back/Bi Day.

I didn't get too much sleep due to all the dates ive had lately LMAO, 4 in a row with 4 different girls. I must say though, each date got better and better, and last night i had one of the best dates ever. We had a 'no more than kissing' rule going into the date. We "bent" that rule, but didn't break it LOL. I was able to control myself SURPRISINGLY better than she could. She was ALL over my body LMAO. I am soo happy ive lost 50 F'n lbs ! After today's workout I walked outside with just sweatshorts on and happened to notice my reflection in the window and WOW, i thought lol. My arms and upper body looked pretty big, its just the belly that ruins it lol. But, its coming along and i can really see the progress. On to the workout:

BB Bent Over Rows

160 x 4
160 x 4
160 x 4

Deadlifts

340 x 4
340 x 4
340 x 3

Lat Pulldowns

130 x 4.5
130 x 4.5
130 x 4

BB Curls

100 x 5
100 x 4
100 x 3

DB Alt Curls

47 x 3
47 x 2

Ok workout, but wanted more ont he deads.. Oh well, an increase of 10 lbs and i still get at least 4 reps on each set, i guess isn't toooooo bad....

Tuesday July 6, 2004. For the record, I HATE squats...FYI! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

Leg day, can you guess? hehe

DEEP squats

185 x 6
185 x 6
185 x 4 (felt like i was gonna pass out, also got lazy lol)

Stupid Fn squats, i hate them. I was doing 235 but I didnt' like how far i was going down, so i dropped the weight back down to 185 and decided im gonna make SURE i am going ALL THE WAY DOWN as much as I can go. Boy did I work today.

Calf Raises

295 x 10
295 x 10

Straight Leg Deadlifts

215 x 6
215 x 6
215 x 6
Legs were shaking on the last couple reps of the second and third sets. I really had to pull with this weight. But, im gonna increase again next week.

I thought i worked real hard today on squats/SLDL's, but i just HATE leg day. I would rather deadlift twice a week than do legs once a week lol.

nice workout, good job pushin through those dreaded leg days. SL DLs are lookin real solid. I had to do the same on squats, (back off a bit to go down further). It'll be worth it in the long run.

WHOA! just noticed your dead lifts, 340 x 4 is awesome, you definitely have a 400 pull in you, NO DOUBT about it. Great job there, you've come along SOOOOO much since you started this journal, great job buddy :

Glad someone noticed Jgriff . Sometimes i go back and read what I started at. I actually started losing fat at 342.5 which was my biggest, but I think i started this when i was at about 317 or somewheres near there.

And yeah, my deadlifts have really come a long way. I think i started with 245 x 6 when i started about 6 months ago deadlifting. hehe. Not bad at all. My body is used to carrying alot of weight around though, so i figured my deadlift would go up quick, same with squats. I would rather deadlift any day of the week than do squats at all LOL, but, gotta NOT BE LAZY and keep plugging.

I can't wait to get to 405 x 6 for deadlifts man hehe. I think 6 45's on the bar looks sooo cool right now, and can't wait to see 8 on there! Ill get 340 x 6 for sure next time. Then im going to 350 .

Thursday, July 8, 2004. Chest/Tri Day

Flat BB Press

195 x 4
195 x 4
195 x 3
Basically, got 1 rep more on each set than i had last week, but the week before that, when i had first went to 195, is the same as this week's. So, i am back to where i started pretty much lol. I expect 6 reps next week or ill be pi*sed.

BB Incline Press

160 x 4
160 x 3
160 x 3

DB Flat Press

77 x 5
77 x 4
77 x 3

SkullCrushers

85 x 4
85 x 4
85 x 3
LOL, i remember a year ago being able to do 55 for 4 or 5 and thats it. Oh what a long way I have come!

Bench Dips

BW x 5
BW x 5
These just tear up the inner tricep area for me. I can really feel it after 5 reps.

Tricep Cable Pushdowns

70 x 2

I quit after that set. Just too tired. I got about 1 hour of sleep last night, so I am very happy with the workout given my sleep. Maybe i get 195 for 5 or 6 if im rested well, who knows.

Also, after Bench dips i went and checked my arms out in the mirror and holy smokes did they look big. I could actually see the triceps rounding out the back of my arms when i flexed, with some definition. It was soo beautiful..tear lol. I am definitely getting there!

That is awesome Firehawk! Great to read those results you've been getting! The fact that you are able to see more definition in your triceps, means things are working for ya! Keep it up, you REALLY ARE getting there! :
