Sunday July 25, 2004 Chest/Tri's
First time ever attempting reps in the 200s on chest (205).
Barbell Flat Press
205 x 4
205 x 3
205 x 2
215 x 1 (just for sh*ts and giggles)
BB Incline Press (I think doing a 1 rep set at the end of Flat press is messing up my incline performance, but oh well).
160 x 4
160 x 2 (3rd rep i got caught )
DB Flat Press
82's x 5
82's x 4
82's x 3
SkullCrushers
85 x 5
85 x 4
85 x 3
Was very intense on these.
Bench Dips
BW x 5
BW x 3
Cable Pushdowns
65 x 6
65 x 5
65 x 6
My arms are dead. They are wobbly, shaky, and i love it. Good workout, very intense. I think Chest/Tri day is my favorite day to work out now, now that I have finally gotten above the 225 max on bench. Ill attempt another max (245) before i go to Florida Aug 20-30 :

Good sets Firehawk. It seems like you've been training like a powerlifter for awhile now. Are you thinking of upping the reps to 6 to 12 and taking out a set or two to switch things up. I personally was stuck on 275 for 4 or 5 reps for a good month so I dropped down 40 lbs or so and I'm progressing nicely in the 10-12 rep range. It's alot easier on my CNS and my recovery is quicker.

I WAS thinking about it a little bit, but i doubt I will to be honest. Ill stick with this until i cut all the fat i need to off my body (about 45 more lbs) and then see where I am from there, but I am making pretty darn good progress the way I am training now.
Each heavy set is meant to target 4-6 rep range. If It is less, then I just wasnt able to achieve the desired range. Usually in the following weeks though I get stronger and am able to get all my sets for 4-6.
My bench press is my weakest lift, but it is catching up. For my size, I should be able to handle 315 pretty good. That is my goal, to get to 315 for 6 reps, not just 1. Id' love to be able to max 405 (Naturally, i.e., nos upplements, no creatine, no glutamine, just FOOD).

Well, it's been 3 days since your venting post. Do you still hate women? How are things??

I tell ya what Andrea, I have alot to offer a woman and I think I am a pretty good guy, and to be Sh*t on like this just really makes me NOT want to have a relationship anymore.
It is these reasons that guys just want sex from women and nothing more. I really don't want to be like that, but I am tired of getting hurt.

When I'm feelin like that Fire I just pop in some snoop or g-unit and remind myself that I'm a PIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIMP, take yourself above it, its her loss, not all chicks are like that, just tell her you're not into the games, have some respect, call if you want other then that I'M OUT, peace, word to your moms.

Griff is right. It's there loss. And not all girls are that way. You just haven't found any good ones yet. I wish you the best of luck. Don't stay down about all this. It ain't worth it. Be happy.

On your female situation:
The EXACT same thing happened to me about a month and a half ago. This girl I was seeing agreed to be my g/f, then after three weeks she stopped calling me. NO EXPLAINATION or nothing. I was so frustrated. Why can't they just explain their feelings? Are they that insecure or just f@#d up in the head? (I'm not generalizing about all women, just a select few I've encountered who've done this to me). Anyways, like you I was getting all positive signs, took her to really fun events, etc... It seemed to be going great, and just one day, poof, 0 communication. She goes to an all-girls college and is an only child, so those could be underlying catalysts...but who knows. Stand tall and don't bother calling her back. She obviously has some hidden baggage and you don't need that sh*t. There are normal, appreciative girls out there, you just gotta find em.

I just want ONE GOOD woman, that is evidently too much to ask. I have moved on, but my opinions of women are starting to change. It's a shame too.

Don't rush into anything. Marriage is so overrated. I'm not going to start on this, since I could write a book....but in my opinion, there are alot of good women out there, but they just aren't compatible with alot of us for countless reasons. Therefore, go out and have fun with lots of women and if you find one whose compatible w/ you, great.

That really sucks..you seem like a decent guy! I sorta agree with Gibson.. find someone you enjoy doing things with and just let it build on it's own..going into it with expectations is just gonna highlight the good and cover up the bad and you might miss out on someone better cuz you're too busy focusing on someone who might turn out to be a beotch (sorry but that's what I consider someone who can't just say 'goodbye' even if she doesn't wanna give a reason)

Ok, July 27, 2004 Back/Bi Day. Tuesday
I almost fainted after my first set of deadlifts LOL.
BarbelL Bent Over Rows
185 x 6
185 x 4
185 x 4
Deadlifts
350 x 5
350 x 3
350 x 3
Lat PUlldowns
130 x 5
130 x 4
130 x 5
Barbell Curls
105 x 4
105 x 3
105 x 3
Tough, but felt strong
Dumbbell Hammer Curls
47 x 4
47 x 4
Pretty good workout. Ive been using my bitterness toward women to give me that extra boost, and for the first 3 reps on the first set of deads, it worked, after that it was hard as HELL lol.
