Yeah, I really don't have the bar right on my ankles, but on the third set, I moved it close to my body and found it a little bit easier, problem was I was so tired already from the first 2 sets. Definitely makes you use more back when the bar is further away, almost like a good morning, but not.

Nice work on the deads buddy, you're getting up there. Definitely make sure the bar stays close to your shins. You actually want to drag the bar up your shins and over your thighs in order to keep it on a straight line and close to your body.

Hey firehawk, just saw the 360 deadlifts - the last time I looked you were at 350 - WOW. I've noticed too that they seem better when the bar touches the legs - If I do it that way, I don't get muscle spasms, but what do I know you guys are deadlifting more than 2X what I do. Keep up the good work.

Yeah, when i started I didn't feel that comfortable having the bar right on my legs like most people do, I liked it out about 1 foot or so. Now though, I am finding that it is actually better to start very close to the bar and to keep it running up the leg. That 360 was ridiculously heavy.
I usually don't add weight 2 weeks in a row unless i can for some reason get 6 reps the first time i add it, and I got 5 but still went ahead and added weight this week. I really feel i coulda gotten 4 reps out of it, but oh well. I am already jacked up to get it for 6 next week .

I am from the Detroit area Andrea, but no, not IN DETROIT LOL . I live in a good suburb , why do you ask?
Joseph, Sometimes that happens, where it goes down a rep. I usually come back hard teh following week. I am very intense on every workout that I do. Today i just couldn't get that extra rep in. 67 lb dumbbells are HEAVY to press. Sheesh.
