Jgriff im tryin like a mofo. Im supermotivated right now. Im losing 3.5lbs of fat per week when I dont cheat at all on the weekend (usually ill take a cheat day). This week i cheated but still have dropped 3 lbs. I think my body is in such a consistent mode of burning fat that it wont slow it down now, which makes me wanna take a cheat day tomorrow lol.

Thx for the kudos. I want 299. I dont think i was under 300 since freshman high school year. I cant even remember. YAYYYYY

Since around january 1st, ive lost 35 lbs...and falling at 3lbs a week on avg.

Im such a retard. I took 2 cheat days in a row on saturday and sunday. What was I thinkin? Oh yeah, i ran out of good food sunday and then lost my focus. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Ok, now I am poised to go 21 straight days without cheating, and finally get to my 299. This is my final stand before my goal, and I know I can stay focused and determined.

Nothing but Chicken, Tuna, and Eggs for protein, and whole wheat bread for carbs. Its gonna happen for me I can feel it. Just gotta stick with this for 21 more days and then take my next cheat day at the end. :

Did shoulders on Saturday, and no workout on Sunday. Tore my shoulders up, completely killed them. They bounced back real fast by sunday night though.

Tonight I have Legs. Should be interesting. Also have a final tonight at school. I Cant wait for it to be over with. Im graduating with an Electrical Engineering Degree. Today one final, wednesday 2 finals and im all done. Im excited.

Lets Go Red Wings...

Hey Firehawk, good to see your having some superb results. :

How long have you been doing Max OT now? Are you gonna take a week off like the Max OT book recommends or keep going?

Ive been doing max OT for about oh, 8 weeks or so now. But the first 3 weeks i was really kinda getting into the rhythim of it, learning the routine of it, and after 3 weeks really began watching my gains. I write them all down, well the big lifts anyways. I am not sure that I will take the week off at 12 weeks, but I will when I go on vaction, which is coming up here in june probably.

If i were to recommend it to someone, I would say definitely take the week off. Right now I am startin to feel a bit burnt out with weightllifting and everything because I really have been doing dieting, weightlifting, and cardio non stop for the last 6 months straight. While ive seen great gains, im just getting worn down. That should probabaly change though when I get to my first big goal of 299lbs! WHich will be here in about 3 weeks or so.

I dont think I am going to do cardio today. I am just exhausted. I stayed up late last night for the wings game, only got 5 hours of sleep, which is terrible for me when I am working out. I require 7 or im sluggish, and since i got 5 im really really sluggish today, and I have to study (cries). StuPID FINALS! 2 more, and im done for life, yay.

I was 312 today. Thats good becasue I was coming off 2 cheat days in a row on the weekend. I expect to be down another 3 lbs tomorrow morning (losing water). Hopefully by Saturday im under 307.

I can feel 299. Its within my grasp. YAYYYYY

Today is chest/Tri day, but due to my last 2 finals AND IM GRADUATED WOOHOOO, i probably wont be able to get my workout in. I wont get out of finals until 11:20. If i get home by 10:30-11pm, I MAY do the workout, but Id rather kinda just put off the workout until tomorrow. I dunno. Ill see when I get home how awake I feel.

Its a big chest/tri day for me. I am goin for 185 for 6. Ive nevr gotten 6, and probably wont get 6 this time, but for sure ill get 4-5 reps. Ive had 185 for 5 before, never 6.

Im pretty much at the peak of where I was about 4 yrs ago. This is as far as Ive gotten my bench to. And its quite sad considering my size. My bench is definitely the most disappointing exercise for me. But im workin hard at it.

IM TRYIN TO MAKE YOU PROUD JASTER!!!

Well I did Chest/Tris today. I got 185 for 5. Thats not bad considering i increased the weight today. One more rep and I woulda moved on to 190 hehe.

I got 185 for 5, 4, and 3 on my 3 heavy sets. So next week Ill definitely try to improve that, especially make sure I get 6 on the first set. I can feel it comin. MY bench is startin to move along FINALLY. Thx BULL I also would like to report that i have not had a sticking point since i took Jaster's advice and moved the starting point of my bench to the middle of my range, and since ive changed my form to what he has told me. Ive been starting to increase pretty good now.

Ate perfect, and tomorrow morning is cardio .
Day 1 of my 21 day no cheat challenge has been complete. :

If you do a search for Bench Press Tips, or Jaster Bench Press Or somethin like that you will get threads posted by Jaster giving all kinds of bench press tips. They WORK.

I was not flexing my lats to help me bench, I had a sticking point in the center of my range of motion, and I was not increasing the weight for a good 6 or 7 weeks. Then Jaster corrected my form for me and now I am making gains every week, and adding plates to the bench press every 3rd week. Usually ill increase the weight, then cant get all 6 reps on my heavey set. So on the next week Ill get all 6. Then the following week Ill increase the weight again. So about every 3rd week ive been adding 5 lbs and Im going up :

Today I did 10min HIIT cardio. I know I know, slacker right? Well i had a good reason, but i wont get into that..

Um, i have eaten perfect and continue to eat perfectly. This is Day 2 of my 21 day challenge to not take a cheat day.

I still have not figured out what im gonna do about mother's day. My mom wants me to buy her a pizza and have everyone over. WHAT AM I GONNA EAT? LOL. I guess i could have 1 or 2 pieces and then stop, but its real hard to quit once I start. usually it ends up to 8 or 9 pieces.

I guess we'll see just how badly i want 299lbs huh.

Day 3 of my challenge, which was yesterday, I ate some pizza at my mom's for mothers day. I did however, get right back on my dieting for the rest of the day and prior to the cheat meal. I dont think it affected me as far as retaining water. I didnt have an increase in scale weight which seems to mean i didnt retain water due to the simple carbs.

Today is Day 4, and I am well on my way here. This is sooo hard for me to eat right over the weekend. I usually take my cheat day during the weekend so its been a little rough. It would be sooo easy to go get a pizza right now. BUT I WONT. I did 20min HIIT cardio today, but only made it to 15 minutes. Since changing my HIIT routine around to going from level 8 to level 10 every cycle has really kicked my a**.

I did Back/Bi's yeserady. I had a pretty darn good BB curl day yesterady. Last week, I got 95 lbs for 1x4, 1x3, and 1x3. This week I got it for 1x5, 1x4, 1x4. I increased by 3 reps. So i was happy. Now lets talk about the deadlift....yikes.

I increased the weight on my deadlift from 325, to 335 yesterday. I thik that was a mistake. I shoulda waited at 325 until i could get 3x6 instead of 1x5, 1x4, 1x4 or something like that. I got 335 for only 2 reps, then 1 rep, and didnt even try on the third set. Granted, my intensity level was down though too. I was hopin when I started, I would get jacked up, but it didnt happen. I did however start feelin more lively near the end of the workout when i got to my biceps.

I consequently took my cheat meal as the post workout meal. So those simple carbs from the pizza probably had much less of an affect on my body as far as weight gain. I weighed in at 309 today so the water retention is almost gone. I bet right now i probably weigh around 305-6, so I have a couple more lbs of water to get rid of.

Overall this week has been very bad as far as my diet goes. I cheated Saturday and sunday of last week, then cheated wednesday night when i ate some enchilladas at night before i went to bed, which was dumb, and then yesterday eating the pizza. I plan to put in a PERFECT WEEK startint today.
