Thanks Guys, im tryin hard. It just got harder with the pups but it is still a priority in my life, so I am finding the time!

I was back up to 303.5 this morning LMAO (water). I had the cheat meal at the graduation party for me, then i had to go to a relative's high school grad party yesterday and ate there, then had some nachos for the PISTONS GAME GO PISTONS!

Im all done cheating now until next sunday, or longer. I wanna be at 295 or less by next sunday. I set a new goal for 280 by July 31 but thats gonna be a stretch i think. Its possible but i dunno...that would be at a 3 lb a week loss.

Anyway, today is cardio day. Ugh, hate cardio, id rather just eat less. But, its important for heart health!

Back/Bi day. Dreaded it but i felt real strong going into it. Had a great workout

BB Bent over rows

155 x 6
155 x 6
155 x 6
Will go to 165 next week

Dreadlifts

225 x 6 warmup
315 x 6
315 x 6
315 x 6
This is a personal record. I have never gotten 315 for 3x6 before.
Waited 3 mins, then tried 385 for 1, budged it but couldnt lock it out, wasnt even close lol.

Lat Pulldowns

120 x 6
120 x 5
120 x 4.5

BB Curls

95 x 6
95 x 4
95 x 4

DB Alt Curls

30 x 4.5

Good strong back workout today. Was impressed with how easy the deads went up on the third set! It was hard, but i felt very strong. 325 next week for deads.

You know, that 225 warmup set before i get into my heavy deadlifts really makes a difference I think. I used to just go into the heavy deads but was finding it much tougher than when i would warm up first.

June 9, 2004. 20 min HIIT cardio later on!

How Awesome Firehawk!!! Congrats :

Firehawk, I'm new to this site and just finished reading through your journal. Very Impressive!!! I'm trying to do just the opposite, gain weight, but I found your posts very motivational. I believe 280 is definitely in your sights. I will check back periodically to see how you are progressing. I'm off to search for good ways to add lean mass to a 6' 4", 190lb frame! Good luck and keep it up!!! -Dan

Hey thanks man. Im glad something I am doing is motivating people. I think when i started this journal i was 325 or somewhere around there. I actually started losing fat at 342.5 lbs, the biggest i have ever been.

You know what really bugged me? I was 7.5 lbs away from not being able to be measured on those scales they have at the hospital, the ones that you stand on, and slide the 50lb increment weight, then the 10lb, then the 1lb weight over until you measure it out? Those only go to 350 i believe. I was NOT about to be embarrassed lol. Also, was tired of feelin sluggish.

I am glad that you are getting motivation. If I can do it, I know you can do it. I will be bulking late this year hopefully if i can get down to 240 or so. Im gonna re-evaluate how i look at 240 and then decide whether to keep cutting or start bulking. My body is craving a bulking diet/routine right now...ugh. I am built to carry muscle, not built to run hehe.
