Hey man - from one reformed 'bad' squatter to another, don't overthink it. Videotaping, overanalysis and all that just messes with your head. Keep it simple. Squat down. Explode upward through heels. Repeat. :

Yeah you gotta feel it.
If it feels bad to squat then it is.
You just gotta feel right when squatting.

I know what you are saying, but there are right and wrong ways to do something. Not squatting properly could be putting the weight on the wrong muscles, and eventually you don't go anywhere, and certainly never get to the "big" weight.

i maxed on bench, tried 255 again but coudlnt barely get it off my chest this time. I think it's cause of my very low calories, and it's the end of the week and I'm already pretty carb depleted.

I put 240 on and got that easily so I'm pretty confident that I should get it easy if i were loading up on carbs, say, after a cheat day or something. Oh well.

Shoulders/Traps

I cut the volume down on this day. Haven't eliminated it yet, but still thinking about it lol.

DB Shoulder Presses

42 x 4
62 x 2

72 x 4
72 x 4
72 x 4
I'm going to 74.5's next week. Weight is getting hard to get in position.

Upright Rows

120 x 4
120 x 4
120 x 4
125 next.

Reverse Flys

62 x 6
62 x 6

Side Laterals

37 x 6
37 x 6

DB Front Raises

54.5 x 4
54.5 x 4

BB Shrugs

315 x 6
345 x 6
345 x 6
345 x 6
345 x 6

Still thinking maybe i should 86 the shoulder day. We'll see. Maybe ill just try it with this lower volume on this day and see how i feel. I'm starting to wonder why i even train shoulders separately anyway. I dont train chest or back twice a week, why am i training shoulders twice (worked hard on chest day) and they are alot smaller muscles nonetheless.

Consider this, instead: Do DB presses on chest day and do either shrugs or uprights on back day. That knocks out the shoulders-only day but still supplies some direct shoulder/trap work.

You know, I skipped shoulders day last week and I haven't done arms for about 4 weeks now. And my big 3 lifts are better than ever. Is it a coincedence, or not? lol tomorrow I am supposed to do shoulders, and Monday arms, but now I'm afraid it will hinder my progress! What a dilemma haha...

I suspect that will be exactly what happens to me GCS, the more and more i talk to you bro, the more it sounds like you are turning into a pure powerlifter over there lol. Listen to you "I dont work arms, i dont work shoulders directly..." lol. You got powerlifter written across your forehead bro .

Klinger, Yeah i was thinking that exact same thing. DB presses woudl get moved to chest day, i'd also probably do side laterals too and that'd be it. Shrugs would get done on back day.

Abarlement, thanks bro. I'm trying. It's getting really heavy though . I'd love to be able to put up 100's but I think im about 10 yrs away from that lol.

That's what I'm counting on, but probably not until jaster is old and gray. lol

I cant' wait to start eating big. I think im going to explode. In just the couple times i've taken 4 cheat days in a row, my strength has gone up on my bench by 10 lbs on that day. I think my gains will come very quick, at least for awhile.

haha I don't know about pure powerlifter. I just want to be strong in everything, even BB curls or MP. I haven't been training my arms because of my pulled bicep, and I left shoulders out last week to let it heal even more. And I do plan to cut for summer! lol I don't want to strictly be a powerlifter, but if not working shoulders and arms raises my big 3, then I'd rather have a high squat or bench over a high DB shoulder press and skull crusher ya know. I want powerbuilder!!

lol. Well i promise you you keep doing heavy heavy back work and those biceps will get stronger whether you like it or not. I'd rather have a 600-700 lb deadlift than a high DB press and skullcrusher exercise too . Those are really jsut complimentary exercises when you think about it.

Remember any of those videos i showed you a while back where you said they weren't too great on the form? lol

There's a guy in one of those doing rack pulls with 675 for 4 or 5. Anyway, i want my back like his. REal thick, real wide.

http://ironaddicts.com/video/675rackpull.AVI

LOOK AT THAT BAR BEND LOL.

Notice how wide his wings are, and how thick. Then they quickly taper inward as you go down his back, and they are thicker than my neck lol. Look how big his ass is too. That's all from core work man. No wonder this guy can squat 800 lol.
