"Dannon Carb Control", 60 calories, 5g of protein, 3g of carbs (1g of sugar).
See, I am SO not in that mindset to even watch for the carb content of a yogurt, lol. I think it is hard enough to always prepare something to eat every two hours regardless of what it is, without even worrying about the macro content of the meal. Of course, I don't eat fast food, or anything we would consider "nasty", I tend to focus on relatively "clean" foods and just eat em. If I am hungry at night, I am not too worried about measuring out a cup of nasty cottage cheese or whatever, I will have a bowl of oatmeal and a protein drink, or some peanuts or whatever...All relatively good foods, of course my results won't mimic the results of you guys who have this down to a "T", but after a while, it really gets to you emotionally I think...at least I feel that way lately...all this worrying about exactly what and when to eat things takes a toll on you, it is mentally draining...I want to just be a little more free to just eat when my body wants food, but not have to worry about measuring out the exact ratio of protein to carbs to fat, etc.

I used to eat cottage cheese all the time cause it's the rage to eat before bed...cottage cheese and broccoli, but then one day it hit me...I HATE cottage cheese, and who the hell eats broccoli by itself before bed!?!? Now I eat neither before bed. But my point is, damn we have chosen a tough lifestyle haven't we????

Ranger if you ever wanted to cut down you'd probably have to do it by doing more cardio then if you do'nt want to lower the calories. And you know what, i can't blame ya. It's hard as HELL for me day in and day out, hour in and hour out, to stick with this. It's a battle for me and will always be until the day i die.

I just want the fat off NOW because i feel like im wasting the best years of my life for growth all because i've gotta constantly cut. I mean imagine if i could have continued to eat big for the last 4-6 months instead of have to try cutting? I feel i'd be well into the 300's benching, and in the mid 500s deadlifting at least, and squatting well over 4. My numbers were doing nothing but going up when i was eating enough.

My actual gym time is like playtime, it's the battle all the rest of the time that drains the hell out of me.

That's the rationale behind the PSMF. Having it suck a LOT, but for shorter amounts of time, than sucking a little for longer.

Or, you could just say screw it, get huge and strong!

155, 160, 165, 170 another 1/2 thumb out.
175, 180, 185, 190 another 1/2 thumb out.
I just tried to push as fast as i could. Gotta get faster.

DB Shoulder Press

50s x 6
60s x 3
70s x 2

75s x 6
75s x 7
75s x 6
These, were heavy. Thought i was gonna black out on the third set lol.

Light cable pushdowns

80 x 15
80 x 15
1 min rest

Seated pushdowns

140 x 15
140 x 15 15th was failure
1 min rest

Plate Raise

45 x 10
45 x 10

Lateral Raise

30s x 6
30s x 6
30s x 6
These are getting too easy now.

Wide grip Lat Pulldowns to chest
150 x 10
170 x 10 10th was failure

Rear Delt Raises (Detroit Barbell Style)
20s x 10
20s x 10 10th was failure
1 min rest

Well it looks like instead of competing feb 26th i may compete at a different meet 2 weeks earlier. It's a smaller venue so it would be good practice for the first time. So if i do this one ill be doing 2 in february. Nice huh? I'll probably do both. The gym guys really wants me to get on stage to get some stage experience.

Will there be video? And of course notice of how you placed - even if it's last. Just the thing of lifting about 2 years, not really powerlifting very long, held back by health problems, having your heart worked on, competing while cutting - that's just totally awesome.

3 weeks out from my meet:

BB squats

55 x 5
55 x 5
105 x 3
145 x 2
195 x 1
235 x 1
275 x 1
305 x 0 lol, my form went to hell. Was squatting with very wide stance. I moved in to about double shoulder width and felt more comfy...so i continued:

235 x 1
275 x 1
315 x 1 smoke show
Stopped, started feeling tired. Well i found where i'm strongest. For now ill do squats at that width and continue to speed squat on the box with the wider stance, and get stronger wider. The surgery hurt my squat a bit for sure.

Reverse Hypers

280 3 x 8

Glute Ham Raise

2 x 3, first set all me, second set last 2 reps assisted, small touch

BB Shrugs

315 x 6
365 x 6
405 x 6

DB Curls

40s x 9
40s x 7

Situps off the end of a roman chair

2 x 10

Went to the WPO qualifier today, bench for cash. We got another 800 bencher now in the gym! John Zemmin benched 800 on his 3rd attempt, went for 830 on his 4th but missed it. So now I believe we are the only gym in the world with 2 800+ benchers.

So you missed a squat, re-set and kept going up in weight...that rocks.

Good work as usual.
