LOL - you're a powerlifter, no ifs, ands, or buts.

keep it up, it'll be no "butts" as well,

Yeah someone said awhile ago, ur not a powerlifter unless you compete. Now to erase any confusion, I will become one next weekend lol.

I should total 1000 easily which is my goal for this meet. I will try to have video clips and pictures of the meet.

So that's probably what, a 500 bench, 700 squat, 800 dead?

Minimum?

Ye Gods.

ME Bench

Worked up to opener and that's it, then just assistance work. Set a couple PRs on the assistance work though.

Bench Press

45 x 6
95 x 6
135 x 3
185 x 2 paused
225 x 1 competition style, paused 2 seconds, wait for the press, wait for the rack call. Easy.

So here we go. Less than a week out. I'm getting very excited.

Rope Pushdowns

70 x 6
70 x 6
70 x 6
70 x 6

Rope Overhead Extensions

70 x 6
70 x 6

DB Rolling Extensions

30s x 10
40s x 6
30s x 10

DB Lateral Raises

30s x 15
30s x 13 (one min rest)
30s x 15 (3 mins rest)
These were PR's with 30lb DBs.

Rear Delt Pulldowns

150 x 10
170 x 10 PR
170 x 10 PR

Dave: Please post an announcement in the PL section before you go, and fill us in on all the details when you return. It would be nice to see not only your numbers but your impression of being in your first PL contest.

Tara has a cell phone. Just ask for me if you call it when we're there.

Her number is 555-555-5555 lol

I'll try not to forget to mention that someone named greg might call for me lol.

Clay will be there, Clay, Craig (our best squatter), their girlfriends, and quite a few other gym members.

Firehawk,

I'm going to be privately cheering for you on your event day. It's the start of my working on Saturday routine for the next couple of months during my busy work season.

Attack the bar!
