Good stuff dude:

You love your rack pulls, lol. And that shrugging...my God, over 300 pounds in your hands, did you use straps or you can hold that weight and shrug without losing grip? That would be most impressive if you don't use straps.

Now if you would give me some of that pulling strength, I will gladly give you some pushing strength of mine

sorry, posting something here and messed it up.

Looking forward to that video next time when you nail that 585 lift though. One day, I'll find someone with a digital video cam and put up something we can all enjoy laughing at.

No i used straps. I should be able to shrug 405 for a couple right now. I want to work up to doing it for at least 6 though.

It's funny man, usually any places i go to i look bigger than most of the bouncers unless they're all juiced up ones. There's a few like that .

It does look good on me though doesn't it?

You dropped speed work from 195s down to 155s in a week? Big change isn't it?

My problem is the low end of the bench, I can feel it now...as I get to about halfway up, I know I'm gonna make the lift, the weight just seems to fly up. It's when I go down getting back up, lol....I wrote in my journal that I read something about close grip benching helping the low end because you have a larger range of motion with close grips without worrying about shoulder damage, so you can get your arms down low and work on that part of the bench...have you heard anything like that?

And I don't mean a super close grip, something like index fingers one inch inside the knurlings...pretty much hands a little shorter than shoulder width...

Work on strengthening your lats and your rear delts. That'll help you off your chest.

It ain't like you're pushing sissy weight man. You ain't going to be fly right up to a 405 bench in 1 yr. 400 lbs is HEAVY weight to be benching raw, and naturally.

Lats make a huge difference off the chest, my lat work work soared and bench also at the same time. My lats are always sore after heavy bench days. You got some decent back numbers Rangers but if you get it up even more the bench will follow.
