Sounds like a not a bad workout, its a shame that is wasn't a full pelt one, but nevertheless good work. I'm finding workouts extremely hard, after collage I just have absoloutly nothing in me I just want to go home and sleep until the weekend everday and then when its the weekend I just want to sleep all the weekend too lol dont know whats happening to me, wish I was doing as well as you on the workout front though

OK, back on schedule. I've mostly just been dieting lightly the last few days. Or dieting in the am, and having a few Manhattan's at night. Mmmmm, boouuurrrbon. I got to many vices. Blasted.

I had my best diet day in a long time. Mainly this was due to the fact that I didn't go out to eat with the wife. 3 meals, 3 snacks. 2,000 would be tough to hit. 10 and 2 pm seems to be the best time to take my drugs. Good hunger, and I don't want to hurl. Crazy sides. :S

Since I missed Monday's workout, I did a full body workout today. I did a little less weight, which was much more painful. Silly, but probably more effective. Reps of 15 on the leg press were making the lights do dim. The twing in my shoulder is good. Almost 100%. A weekend off (no snowboarding) has the back 100%. Just had some wpi, cheese, olives, and some o-3's when I got home. Should be a good night of fat burning.

I guess I have officially stopped smoking now. I don't remember when I had the last one, so that's a good sign. Must have been off the wagon a month I guess, maybe two. I mentioned my vices right???

Somehow I'm super light tonight. A mere 200, which is a pretty good night weight for me.

thurs

199 Weds (crap I forget already)
199 and change today.

Ate less carbs, but more calories yesterday. I'm just much hungrier on the pure protein diet. I'll have to stick more Zone like in the future. 100g or so of carbs. Snacks helped emmensly. I just ate big meals yesterday. Timmay.

Medium heavy workout tonight, and then carb loading. My workout will probably be too long since I didn't stay at the gym forever on Tues.

Fun fun

201.5 lbs this am. A little better with the carb loading yesterday than last week. Nothing like the 1,000 calorie post workout shake. Syrup. Had a few beers, a sandwich at the bar (not the best idea). Then another 80g shake when I got home.

Today I pounded some terriyaki. Had a shake just now, I couldn't eat much. Blorg.

Luckily the Sonics are playing, so more carb loading at the local pub. Too bad they suck. *hangs head in shame*

Thurs workout
Man Thurs is the worst workout. You basically go to 0 carbs. Totally out of breath after 3 reps. Damn lights are dim the whole time. Lets see if I can remember what I did.

[u]Medium weights[/i]
2 bench w 75 dbs.
DB rows 105
Leg press 4 plates, 2 sets @ 5 plates
Pulldowns 2 sets 150 i think it was
Inclines w 75 dbs.
Deadlifts 2 sets at 225. Just to make sure I could add something this week on Sat deads.
Couple calves and I was out of there.

Man I just own the db's now. I'm loving it. 75 is super easy now. 12 or something reps, and even on incline they are nice and light. This while glycogen deprived.

Back to eating carbs.....

Epic workout

203 this am. A little light, but that's from carb loading with Mirror Pond and Makers. Drank a ton of water to get things all topped off.

Carb loaded till about 3pm. A few too many, my blood sugar crashed a few times. Blech I hate that.

4 minute cardio warmup

DB Row 2 x 5 @ 130
Ouch. My back was good, but this hurt all sorts of things in my hips and legs. Little bit of torque now.

Leg Press 3 @ 785, 3 @ 785 (1 assisted)
Eight plates baby! I got stuck in the hole on that last rep. I might have pulled an eye on those. Shew.

DB Press 6 @ 105! Miss @ 105
Totally epilleptic on the first set. My spotter says - "Hey what happened?" Funny I was thinking the same thing. I got my elbows really low, and didn't get enough help on that second set to get started. Did some inclines instead at 75 I think it was.

Nautilus Pullover 4 @ 220
I was pretty tired at this point, but these went well. Pretty much finished me off.

All personal records. I'm going to have to take it. w00t!

Thanks man.

A plate is 45 lbs, 20.2 kg I think.
The sled is 65 so.... 16x45+65 = 785 lbs.

Wow Fudo, that's certainly some impressive lifting Really interested in your progress.. did the low carb thing myself a while ago except minus the carb-ups and the weights. Needless to say, lost weight (read:muscle ) and subsequently put it all back on when started eating anything closely resembling a 'normal' diet.
As long as it's good.. keep it up!

Thats most deffinitly why it went wrong for you, you NEED the carb ups .... they are just absoloutly essential. Same with the workouts Give it another go but how me and Fudo are doing it...it gives killer workouts

Lee, xena: thanks much for the comments. So far, so good. Dieting and getting a good leg workout in is a new one. I'll measure again Mon (been doing Mon since you go up and down in weight so much), but I think I've swaped 3 lbs of fat & muscle.

I don't have too much trouble keeping the weight off. Zone diet is fine for me. Traveling and eating carbs all day is what kills me. Man can I pack on weight in about 5 minutes.

3lbs swap you reckon ? Is started a bit after you I reckon I've only gone about 1lb of fat for muscle, but thats still not too bad. I love the carb up workouts though.....I can pack weight on in minutes too Just dont know why I dont stop eating lol
